Hi,
You do not need any sort of financial statements or bank account certificates, basically you do not need to show any money in this case in any time. You do not need to provide your police clearance certificate in your initial application unless you were involved in any offence, conviction or procession, that means you have case file in the police record or trial in court. But you may need it when you move to Canada, specially when your SINP nomination part will be successfully done and you apply to federal government for final immigration (2nd part). It might take a long time and police clearance certificate is only valid for 3-6 months (depending on issuing country). If you do not provide any document, they might ask you for it. Do not worry too much, they will ask for any documents if you missed or necessary to process your application. For birth certificate document, you have to provide the Birth Certificate, nothing else, not even your passport pages or national id documents and its their requirement. Just make the case simple, do not provide any unnecessary documents or papers, provide only and exactly those papers they asked for. Wish you best of luck.
