Even i had sent few additional documents on jan 22; however i've received the review letter.
FYI, the docs that i had attached were as follows:
1. change in bank account: on 3rd week of jan i transferred my fund from my previous bank to a another bank, accordingly i had sent a balance certificate with my new bank.
2. my police report
3. original certificate of my academic qualification, however transcript of the same was sent at the time of application.

My family name start with "N"

Hello dears,

Still I did not receive email for review........

my family name start with "O"....

In procedure steps, there is no step to send an email to applicant for review purpose in "Pre-Screening Stage" if application is complete....as per our knowledge , there is nothing special thing for completing the application and meeting basic criteria.....i think for my application ...it is 100% complete.....and meeting basic criteria...how is it possible that our application is In complete ..lets see and wait for their response....

May be , who received the review letter , they sent an email address for their status of application and then sent response that they will be reviewed soon etc.....but in my case i did not send any status emails....

Any comments and idea if u have ..please share .......

My 3 frens who had submitted application on jan 3rd without Federal Forms, got email on jan 3rd saying "your federal forms are missing, pls scan and send............."(i forgot the exact sentence), they had send all the documents, and had received AOR on jan 6.
However all those 3 frens has not received review letter yet.

And another theory exist! ;D

Can you imagine that you want to send an email to 250 of your friends, You prepare the email and select your friend's email addresses and when you are selecting your destination emails suddenly one error occur and half of your destination email addresses turn to a wrong format that cause your email couldn't be receive by addressee correctly. In this way you send your email without finding problem and the result is clear! only half of your friends will receive your email correctly! :P

Maybe their automated system had a technical problem and some emails sent correctly and the others didn't. This theory came to my mind when one of our friends in this forum received a wrong email from SASK. The email was the same they sent on 6 Jan and it shows that system didn't work correctly and it sent a wrong email to somebody!

Any Idea?

This will help a Lot for you guys, why you didnt get the Review Letter

II. PRE-SCREENING
Pre-Screening
• Applications are pre-screened by information verification clerks (IVC) to ensure that only those applications that are complete and that meet basic criteria are accepted for criteria assessment.
• If the application is deemed incomplete by an IVC, the application is returned to the applicant with a letter indicating what documents are needed to meet pre-screening standards.
Data Entry
• If the application is accepted for assessment, an IVC completes data entry of the documents provided.
So as per Gulbadan our application is incomplete that is why we did not receive review letter. Now we should wait for a return letter mentioning the missing document. :o
Thanks for being so rational and good luck for your Canada aspirations guys :-X

Hey SP
The application we have is very very simple for them. they dont have to check our job.. our employer. .. they dont have to check our family... and their financial status

remember we have applied for a program without job offer.

another 1 month n u will have ur nomination... if all ur docs are complete

I agree with Gulbadan on this. No job details, no family referral will make process faster and easier for them and on top of it if they find complete application without any document missing then it will be icing on a cake for them.

I have one more theory which could be af per below...

sorting out 250 applications is easy. It seems that they have sent review letters to those whose application is complete or close to complete and can be processed faster. this is the first batch and second batch will have slightly incomplete applications and will hear soon from SINP by sending them review letter confirmation and also possibly be asked to provide missing documents to make the application complete.

Remember they committed to provide faster processing this year on wards and to prove that to employers, investors and ppl of saks, they need to show results. So I feel our first set of nominations could be out with in a months time.

If this happens that would be really great!! Now I am waiting for update from our friends who have not received the review letter yet. Best of luck for all.

Steps Involved in SINP Program

I. Intake
II. Pre-Screening
III. Basic Review -------- Done
IV. Criteria Assessment
V. Recommendation Review
VI. Post-Assessment

Hello,

This means that applicants who received the review email are in the 4th stage out of 6 stages. Hope these will get the nomination letter in the month of march 2014 itself subject to the condition that all documents are complete.

I assume, that Basic Review is not done yet, as according to SINP letter "Application was received and will be reviewed by the SINP".

I also think that Basic Review is not completed yet.

Its time for them to update the processing times in the website,(Quarter 2, 2013-14
(July 1, 2013 - September 30, 2013) , time for quarter 3 , hope they do it soon.

I assume, that the information in below mentioned link will help a lot to understand why processing times so long. As SINP has max nomination limit 4000 per year, while even at the end of December 2012 SINP had 11,308 applications at various stages of processing in its inventory.
We should add to 11,308 also the received applications in 2013.
