Hi all,

Let's see what happens this coming week as no one knows why some of us are yet to receive the review email. From updates, we can see it is not in alphabetical order, nor does it have to do with additional documents sent.

I just wonder...

I agree as in my case I submitted all the documents mentioned but did not receive the review letter.... so fingers crossed

This will help a Lot for you guys, why you didnt get the Review Letter

II. PRE-SCREENING
Pre-Screening
• Applications are pre-screened by information verification clerks (IVC) to ensure that only those applications that are complete and that meet basic criteria are accepted for criteria assessment.
• If the application is deemed incomplete by an IVC, the application is returned to the applicant with a letter indicating what documents are needed to meet pre-screening standards.
Data Entry
• If the application is accepted for assessment, an IVC completes data entry of the documents provided.

And this is the next step after initial Screening. If everything goes good then hope to get the Nomination Letter in 30 Days because this mentioned process will take not more than 15 days.......

III. BASIC REVIEW
• Files that successfully pass pre-screening are randomly assigned to an Information Verification Analyst (IVA) for a basic review in order of the date received.
• The IVA completes a basic review to ensure that the applicant has provided sufficient documentation to meet the category's eligibility criteria and makes case notes on the file.
• If the application does not meet the basic review criteria, a letter is sent to the applicant requesting the necessary documentation to be provided within 45 days.
• When the SINP office receives additional documents, administrative staff will add case notes for receipt of additional documents and will distribute the documents to the appropriate IVA.
• A reminder letter will be sent at the half way point of the document deadline.
• If the documentation is not received within the 45 day timeframe the file will be distributed to an immigration officer for a final assessment as it was originally submitted.
• After a file is considered complete or incomplete at the basic assessment stage, the file is assigned to an immigration officer for criteria assessment.

Hmmm, I don't think so as they said 'If the application is deemed incomplete by an IVC, the application is returned to the applicant with a letter indicating what documents are needed to meet pre-screening standards'. Meaning an email will still have to be sent out if the application is deemed incomplete and so far no one has confirmed receipt of such.

I guess they are sending the review letters in batches. The wait continues

I think sinp working on batch of applications like previously discussed in this thread.....and also it seems they are corresponding with us regarding the app progress in a month interval ....so another mail on 4th march ....may be it will say app is in recomendation review...n those who didnt get review will get at that time.
May be sooner for them..

Dear Brother Gulbadan,
Is 15 days basic review timeline your expectation or any SINP standard timeline? My guess is you are too much optimistic if consider previous SINP trends. I am expecting the nomination letter during May/June, if everything happens well.
Cheers!!!!

No, I am not agree with you my friend. As other friends mentioned in this topic before, for late 2013 paper base system, it took 74 days for nomination letter came out. I think some of applicants will get document request email on May 4th and will get nomination on around march 20th! ;) For those who didn't receive review letters like me maybe it will happen on May 20th!

SINP targets to nominate 7,425 applicants this year (without Entrepreneurs category), however they may not get 100% applications under all categories, in that case lets assume they got only 80% applications, ie total applications they r going to accept is around 6k, and as of now they have only 301 applications in their table, so they may proceed faster not to make their table overloaded in near future.
I expect to get nomination letter with in next 2-3 months although they say 11.8 months.

But SINP has many applications from previous years also, so it is difficult to predict, as we don't know how many application SINP reviewing at this time.

Dear Gulbadan... yes you r right ..who received review letter means they passed pre-screening stage , but who did not receive review letter means they could not pass pre-screening stage so they will receive Return Letter soon......it is simple from SINP's procedure.......

So congratulation for those receive the review letter.......and for those who did not receive review letter , just wait for coming week ,may be u ll good new, if not then wait for return letter and then submit appeal for secondary review......

last week they have filtered out only those guys who have their application complete. .. and sent them review mails..

next week they are going to send mails to them who were nt in tht list.

as some people have sent docs using email. so they are currently adding those documents to their respective profile. letters will be sent either review or docs request only after tht and this will take another week
