Dear all,
Now there is technical problem in online system. I am afraid that, would it be happened that we have to re-apply again, who are already submitted our details yesterday?????????????

I too applied after working 6 hours long. hope they do not delete the submitted apps.

This is my view on how SINP selection works:

First applicant, they would review your application, check and verify all your documents. If you met all the criteria and documents are complete, then they will give you a nomination, then the nomination number is down to 249. If not they will notify first applicant of any reason being not qualified...Then they will go to the second applicant, assuming nomination still on 250. If the second applicant will qualify then they will send nomination and number goes down to 249. And so on…

Just imagine if applicant no. 400 is qualified and was given nomination, while applicant no. 1 is also qualified but wasn't given nomination just because the quota is reached. Do you think that would be fair? It will be on a first apply, first serve basis….Its base on fairness. Does my view makes sense?

Another point is having a nomination from the province doesn't guarantee you will become an immigrant because your application will go on a meticulous assessment again when you apply to CIC Centralized Intake Office.

https://www.apps.gov.sk.ca/apex/f?p=305:1

Thank God, our old applications are there safe. :)

I wouldn't suggest applying immediately as there are a lot of errors in their system. I just checked now and they don't have the area to upload/provide your English test result information. Once you have submit it, you won't be able to edit it. So just wait peeps and be patient. This is not a marathon anyway. If it is like it because of the quota, make sure you are equipped with what is required before you run because if not, they can disqualify you and loose your chance..:) make sure everything is correct and complete first before you submit your application. :)

We should concern that there are only 250 places, and they may accept their mistake about language point part and accept the very first 250 correct applications.

they would calculate the language point for accepted applications.

It doesn't usually go that way. If its not there, its not there. The responsibility to check for completeness before submission is on the applicant. It won't be a spoon feeding system. Actually the system has added a new "self scoring criteria". They keep on updating it because they have been realizing their error. Hopefully those who have applied, have included whats required.

there is a tab under Applicant's information where you have to upload English language test result. They must have done lot of trial and error and then deployed the new forms and criteria online. It looks that SINP did not put IELTS scoring under skilled worker points tab purposely so that only principal applicant submit their result under applicant's information.

Its on left side under your application profile. The instruction said to fill in the applicant's self score for the Skilled Worker Category points criteria and there are answers to choose from with corresponding scores for each factor and each criteria. :)

Thats good to know. Rest assured if you have upload all they were asking :) I actually just saw that when I checked again, previously theres no edit tab beside at the very left side. Now theres two tabs to view and two tabs to edit.Thats confusing, they should have just made it one. Their system is not user friendly.

Hi all

I have a doubt .
As per the checklist the background /declaration and Additional Family Info which are mandatory , says that it needs to be completed by principal applicant and spouse .
Does it mean that even if my spouse is not included in the application , she has to fill it ??

• Completed by:
o the principal applicant
o spouse or common-law partner
o each dependent child over 18 years of age if accompanying the applicant

Well, it's funny you talking about user friendlyness here. Atleast it started working after a day and a half, thank goodness.... people, keep pushing your applications.... go fast!!!
