Hi i have a question. My friend also is conokting her docs for SINP. we are from the phil. The funds are in pesos. Does she have to convert it to CAD? Or it doesn't matter as long as it is of the equivalent required amount? Thanks in advance.

Hi, SINP
I am sorry but this quota is first come first basic, Canada is very fair in its immigration. The only thing matters is, is you are eligible or not? If you meet the requirement or not? If you are absolutely fine, then you have a chance to get nomination otherwise refusal.

Thats a good question, as both is correct. Ill choose no. 2 cause you would provide nomination. This might help http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/multimedia/video/complete-application/complete-application.asp

Yes she has to convert the amount in to CAD. The same she has to declare in one of the forms online.

Please refer the web link below and go to page 20

Hi, i suggest you to make a balance certificate in CAD, and provide three months bank statement which may be in your local currency. Balance certificate will prove your local currency conversion to CAD and balance statement will prove the three months rule.

This is insane. They dont choose by country, they choose if youve met all the requirements within the said 250 quota.

Regarding online application.

I received email as well as called SINP office, they are aware about the system error, they are working to resolve the issue, but dont know until when. So dont panic, it will be live soon.

dont b optimistic ,its clearly written that selection will be not on first come first select, its totally depend on officer ,that who to chose and who to reject even with more then 70 points can b rejected.
plus they r not liable to even inform u if they denied your application. if u wanna check there behavior then just call SINP office, u will get the call if u r soo lucky.
