The immigration officer docent owe you any reason for rejecting your application since you have paid no application fee. Furthermore its not that there is only one immigration officer there are several. This is how the process works, from the applicants who manages to score 60 points a pool is created. Then from this pool they select the 250. There are many area of trainings and these pool should show a diversity of these training. Believe me its not a haphazard process where by you get 249 chemists but one engineer or 245 families from china and 5 from India. This is a free online process that is bound to produce thousands variable applicants but they only need the best 250. They process is to produce a demography that outlines training, age, family.. especially family with young children, geographical region and experience....so getting to 60 points is just a start that enables you to participate in the process but dosent grantee selection. ....Otherwise with an online free application the magic 250 was reached the first hour of the online opening. Belive me guys the last one might be the first to laugh. This is not federal immigration this is provincial and here the rules of the game are quite so diffrent

Guys, do we get any confirmation through email after submitting an application? I didn't get any confirmation, just the online system says application submitted. Can you please confirm?

what should I do if my translator affidavit form is not attached, also all of my translations are confirmed by official references.they are all official translation.

-create a new application and apply again?
-mail the lost form to the mentioned mail in the guide?
-doing nothing because it is not an essential form in case?

I hope you are referring to Date of Conversion which the date of the exchange rates used in converting INR or any other currency to CAD which would obviously the current one.

Spouse credentials are not necessary only the principle applicant credentials are important as they would be assessed under education criteria.

Hi Stark, if you scroll down the Federal Forms and Docs, the Conversion (Form) is one of the requirements. I was wondering if there is such a form. Anyway, I already submitted my application. Hoping the best for all SINP applicants. Thanks.

You have a point. Federal and provincial collaborate for the successful immigration program. The Federal sets admission requirements while the Provincial has the central role in immigrant selection. On how Provincial govt select to allocate the quota, we do not really know because it wasn't specifically explained in their site. All is just speculations from the public and discovered after applications are being processed.

In my opinion it is the same as Federal as they have the intake threshold link.

This is the same as the Federal where they update the numbers of accepted/successful applicants, so the public will know if they still have a chance to get accepted or help decide an aspirant to send or not his/her application. If they would create a pool as like what you are saying, that link is not substantial and should have not created in the first place.

In Australia and New Zealand, they have an EOI system model meaning "Expression of Interest" to migrate. An applicant will send an EOI, then their immigration will make a pool of applicants and select the most promising candidate. The Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) is planning to implement this model by the end of 2014.
So as of now, I still believe its still on a first apply, first assess system.

What you should bother about is not what is in the drop down menu, but rather what they stated in the document checklist effective 2nd Jan 2014.

The compulsory document in the ISW checklist are Ethical code, IMM0008 (_2D), IMM5669, IMM0004_e, IMM5562 and IMM5406. Those that have need to fill any other forms apart from the basic will know by default.

Just an additional suggestion since some asked if the checklist SINP 100-24 is mandatory or not, If I were you I would also print it, filled it up, check what is attached, applicable forms or not; sign at the bottom with my printed name on it; scan and upload it with other documents. It will give a clear picture of your whole application and not giving the assessor a clueless thought if you have just forgotten a specific form. It will also serve as a general overview of your application and helps you identify if you miss something. I just hope that theres a portion where you can upload "other documents"

Can you specify what form are you filling up? ( ie., IM0008 Generic application form.) So we can look into it.
