Hi guys,

I got the reply today on my NOC change. They informed me that the job responsibilities more match the NOC 0213 than NOC 2171. That is why they have changed my "Intended Occupation NOC" field by themselves and give me nomination on that.

Now please help me on taking decision about the changes in CIC. CIC profile holds all my info on 2171. Should i change it now? Or the change could bring further problem.

Please suggest.

I think you should change the NOC ASAP in EE profile. Because, one of my friends is facing almost similar situation. His NOC of EE profile was the main duty of his job. But, in SINP demand list, that NOC was not included. Then he applied to SINP with an NOC which nearly matched. He thought that if he had got the nomination, he would change the NOC of EE profile. After getting nomination, he was too excited to change the NOC. Then he was issued ITA, did medical test, got PCC. But now his two NOCs are different. He may fall under fraudulent category. Now he is so frustrated.

Are you an OID or EE applicant? If you are EE, then you need to change your NOC in CIC profile to exactly match that you got nominated in SINP.

Hi as suggested, I would also advise you to pls quickly change you Noc with CIC since your profile with CIC hasn't been locked in yet. Having two different NOCs at CIC level am afriad can be termed as misrepresentation (and that attracts 5years ban).
Please do the needful immediately,go through your CIC profile and change your NOC to what you got nominated for.

You will get the points for NOC which is under OID list only. You won't get points for other NOC experience.
