Hello guys. I need some help regarding supporting documents. Hoping if anyone could kindly help me out please.

I am about to apply under NOC 2174 - Computer Programmers and Interactive Media Developers and I have my bachelor degree in Graphic Design and Multimedia. My question is do I need to provide any certification that directly relates to programming? I have been working in an area of digital media for 4 years that majorly deals with multimedia, interactive media and web technologies.

At this moment I am worried to think about the possible issues as I do not have a certificate on programming but in Graphic Design and Multimedia which covered the interactive media in some course credits. But my professional experience is directly related to NOC 2174. How shall I approach the application? Can anyone advise?

Thank you.
Vik
Buddy, we have 2 different duties in this noc. 1. computer programmer and 2. interactive media developer.
So if you are specialized and experienced in interactive media developer then you are good to go.
I too selected this noc (because there is no license needed) but my duties are of programmer and i have not mentioned anything related to media developer. so you are good with experience just with media developer.
Also you dont need to have certification which is not mandatory.

Thanks a lot @harirajmohan for the reply. Greatly helpful information to consider. Would you mind if I ask if you have achieved your PR already under this NOC? My sister also live in Saskatchewan, so really hoping to get the approval from CIC.

Also, I actually do both programming and interactive media. Do you think mentioning both would be a bad idea?

Thank you.

1. Already applied to CIC but in progress as it takes time for inland visa offices. I applied in May end this year.
2. I am not understanding why you are worrying for CIC stage for this NOC. As long as you have eligibility either through PNP or through a federal program, you should be fine.
3. I think that as per the titles listed in this NOC, i am thinking one can work on either title for a period of time but not both. At least i think one should show experience in different time period rather than combining into one in the same role for both duties. This is my view but think about it and enquire about it with others before you take a call.

Congratulation dear tetunte and to everyone who got PPR and Visa recently. I've submitted my passport to local VFS and waiting eagerly for the birth of beautiful maple leaf in my passport. After PPR I renewed the passport hence took some time to submit it. Please keep me into your valuable prayers. Best of Luck everyone...
So you did not follow any passport number update process at your visa office and directly sent the new passport (of course you might have sent the cover letter or the old passport copy) but you did not send anything else?
As i too have new passport for my wife but was thinking i had to do it before DM hence asking if this is not the case.

Thanks... Ummm to be honest I feel like moving right away but since I got no one there to support initially I may decide to move a bit after the winter.

Awesome!!! Congratulations buddy, so happy for you! Finally all the procedural steps are done!

I've a question buddy, can you tell me the email id from which you received your AOR/EP?
My application reached to CIC on Aug 6th but I haven't heard anything back so just curious.

Thank you and Congrats once again.
