Hi all!!!

Congratulations to those who have received visa recently and good luck all of you in upcoming life in Canada. I have the following question (sorry if it was asked already sometime in the past):

- How long can a person stay in his/her homeland after receiving Canadian visa? I mean is there some kind of allowed time period between getting visa and crossing a Canadian state border?

Hi evstigneeff.
Once you are done with your medicals. You have generally 1 year to land.
Within that time period you have to complete ur landing formalities.

Good idea.

One of our friend has already opened up a topic on this, we can network there. :)

Dear Friends,

Need your help to find a solution to below scenario.

Today I got mail from NewDelhi visa office for medical request and right of PR fee payment. This has to be completed in 30 days.

Dilemma now is that I am required to travel for 6 months at least to Dubai for an on sight assignment.I need to submit my passport for Dubai visa and travel once I get Dubai visa. Now I am confused how to deal with this and Canada PR process so that there is no conflicts. At first I would like to settle Dubai things and then get PR process completed. So when they ask for passport submission I can submit without any dependencies.

Can any of our group members please suggest any way out.
Is there any option to extend the medicals and processing for some months? Or can we change visa office to Dubai before medicals and fee payment?

Regards,
Canada aspire

UNBELIEVABLE!!!

My friends,
I received my PASSPORT REQUEST from Paris Visa Office today!!! :o :o :o

Viva Paris Visa Office! :-* :-* :-*

Only 117 days after my file received by CIO, 27 days after Medical Request and only 13 days after Medical Result sent by doctor, I received my Passport Request. ;) :P
In ECAS, it is still showing "In Process" and also ECAS messages stopped at line 5 for me it is showing "We sent you Medical instructions"!!! ???

Conclusion: Don't look at your ECAS system because it is not accurate at the moment! For those who already done and their doctors submitted their Medical Request, just wait for your Passport Request email! ;) ;D

When I think better, I can see, I love Beavers more than before now!!! :P

Good Luck every body!

Dear Victor,

Heartiest Congratulations!!!!!!

Congrats for your Medical Request!
If you go and do your medical test and pay your RPRF as soon as possible in the next days before you want do anything about Dubai, Your medical result and RPRF will be added to your application very soon and then you will have one year after your medical test date to enter Canada. I think this scenario won't conflict with your Dubai project because it won't take over one year.
If you want to don't do your medical within next 30 days or want to change your visa office at the moment, it is possible they jeopardize your PR file and it is not not recommended at all! ;)

Good Luck
