For those friends who are still in doubt about work experience:

1 year experience in demand list is NECESSARY to apply and it means if you didn't have 1 year experience in demand's list occupation within 10 years then you can't apply BUT if you worked 1 year in demand list and you worked 9 years in other occupation other than demand list then you will be able to apply. If that 1 year was within 6 to 10 years ago then you won't get work experience points but if that 1 year was within past 5 years then you will get 2 points for that.

60 point require in total then if you have a close relative in Sask and you worked only 1 year in demand occupation then you still have a chance to get your 60 point out of 100.

I agree with Victor, but I if you have further questions ask directly to immigration@gov.sk.ca, they answer you back in two days, so try to be very specific in your question.

Thanks for the info, i already have all my docs just waiting for the start date of submision.

I guess we will need to wait until January 2 to start reading about the changes of the process right? Its seems it can change a lil bit with the connections with the Express Entry from CIC.

if your occupation is in-demand, I think you will get 2points for each year in the first 5years and 1point each for the remaining 5years making 15points. Am i correct?

That YES/NO at the end of each NOC code and description line, shows it is regulated or not! AS you can see on that list it is not a regulated profession!

Absolutely you can't apply in this year because it is a 2015 program and it will begin at least 01 or 02 Jan but still nobody knows maybe it won't start on 01 or 02 January and you must wait for SINP's news about starting date.

I think you could get 11 points out of 15.
July 2006 - July 2009 = 3 years * 1 point = 3 points
July 2009 - July 2013 = 4 years * 2 points = 8 points.

3 points + 8 points = 11 points!
