If you try to send an application RIGHT NOW, without a job offer, the system itself will tell you that the threshold has been met and no more applications will be accepted.

WOW ! that means we are in the queue ? IT MAYBE !
this is a good message.
Thanks

You are absolutely right, if an applicant's online status says 'Application Received' and the applicant has filled forms correctly and provided all the required documents with correct information, there is no reason the application will be rejected, this year system stopped taking application right at the point when cap of 500 was reached and that's the key ! And some times ' No News is a Good News '

Hello friends,

My online application status is still "Application Submitted". All having same status (except two who got AOR) or status changed to "Application Received" as stated by gst8486?

Please comment....

That is not entirely correct.

About half of the 250 spots for ppl without job offer got nominated already, that's true. But, no where near 4600 got nominated including the other categories (job offer, hospitality, family stream and so on).

For example, there were 5000 spots for people with job offers. A little over 400 people applied for that. Not sure about how many actually got nominated, but, as I recall from december 14, the application threshold page showed that over 4500 spots remained unclaimed. The same with most of the other streams. None of them filled the cap. Long haul truckers had 5 people apply for it only.

My friend, After one year in our waiting game with asking and reading and searching I could understand how exactly SINP work:

SINP has one nomination quota and one intake threshold quota each year. Nomination quota and Intake threshold quota are not equal and always intake threshold quota number is bigger than nomination quota. For 2014, Nomination quota was 4725 and Intake threshold quota was 7425. CIC defines SINP's nomination quota and SINP itself, defines intake threshold quota. SINP always tries to nominate %100 of the nomination quota that CIC dedicate to them.

Another important thing is: SINP manage nominations in its side at all and it means SINP can receive one application and nominate it on the same year (and use current year's nomination quota) or they can receive one application this year and keep it and nominate it with next year's nomination quota.

With these facts SINP's story was like this:
SINP defined an Intake threshold for receiving applications From 2013 and before 2013 they had received as much as applications applied.
In 2011 and 2012 SINP received many many Skilled worker, Family referral & Entrepreneur applications and in 31 Dec 2012 there were 11308 unprocessed applications in their system.
In 2013 & 2014 there were only 4500 & 4725 nomination quota and if we add those numbers it will be 9225 nominations for those 2 years and if we add about %10 of rejections (God knows, it could be higher or less than %10) then we still have 10147 but it is still less than 11308(their 2011 & 2012 backlog number).
In 2013 & 2014 they received little number of applications and fortunately that caused to prevent formation of another backlog and as we can see their processing times reduced for late 2014.

Now It is clear that in 2014 they nominated as much as they could from Family stream and old backlog. As I know from 2300 applications they received in 2014, about 1000 applications (about 125 from International skilled worker without job offer category and about 875 from other categories) are still waiting to receive nomination in 2015 and from 2015's nomination quota!

I hope these information could clear the situation for all SINP lovers! ;)

That's nicely explained for us dear. Thanks.
SINP's global threshold met last year and lots of applicant in queue ( pre nominated )for nomination this year carried from last year. It may seems skilled worker with job offer threshold not even filled but how the overall ( global ) cap reached. But as SINP declared it's reached, it's reached....somehow. :) +1

PNP without Job Offer

I am trying to apply to SINP - i dont have job offer.
Where else I can apply without job offer.
I have profile made, job code and my points are 441/600 and NOC 2173

Dears they finally reply on my email sent last week and they replied as follow:

"Your application was received and you will receive notification of this in due course. The process for a receipt letter can take 3-4 weeks. Please check your email inbox and spam folder frequently for any correspondence."

and my email was "I want to know if I am in the 500 or not"

Hey I have certain questions about this PNP,

Do u have to be in Saskatchewan.... I mean do u have to get your education in Saskatchewan ? Or having a college degree longer than 2 years is enough ? About job ... I guess we need that inside Saskatchewan ... Is it correct ?

Can anyone enlighten me more on this topic ?
