Congrats bro. This is only official way to check the status. I think there are few android and apple apps are available, but they are unofficial.

Good news! I received my medical request today from Manila VO. I was surprised because I was expecting a file transfer email first prior to the actual medical request (like Victor Papa's case and others). Can someone (tetunte) please update my status on the spreadsheet?

By the way I paid the RPRF fee and attached the receipt together with my CIC application (unlike other applicants who waited for the instructions to pay).

Just hang in there you guys and keep the faith! :) :D

hi all,
As my topic is not related to this thread, i want to discuss it here for some good friends of mine is here.
My friend is federal applicant of may, 14. She got her pr visa, which will expire 10th dec,15. She is married. Now she is in a separation with her husband and don't want to continue her married life. She is the principal applicant and her spouse is her dependant. They have a child.
In this case is it possible to go to canada with her baby and not with her husband??

One of the major changes is adding "File Transfer" field. please update that field to get a good processing time calculation base on your timeline.

To update your data inside spreadsheet, PLEASE SEND ME A PRIVATE MESSAGE WITH YOUR UPDATE INFO IN THIS WEBSITE AND I CAN EDIT IT FOR YOU.

Yes, As I know Paris is working like this:

After File Transfer:
1 month for Medical Request
1 month for start working on received file
Maximum 3 months for Decision Made and Passport request.

Total (Maximum)= 5 months. ;)
Buddies,
Here is my actual questions:
Even for fastest visa office we need to wait 5+ months. So I think i should wait for MR from VO and there is no point in trying to do MR upfront which will not anyway speedup, Correct?

We can take a call if i dont receive MR in 2 months or Should i wait for 3-4 months before i try to do upfront?

CIC/VO has to anyway do the other eligibility, security and criminality verification which will take few months and that too only when they start working on the file. So doing MR early will just not help speed up the file. If they start working on it then they will only ask for it, correct?

I am not trying to compete with Manila or Paris visa office speed but trying to see if my early action will help or not.
Sorry I was already answered but asking again in a different view ::).

If she is the principal applicant than she is allowed do landing with her children. Her husband do not need to be with her at the time of landing. Dependents can always join later or may not even join at all, doesn't matter.

Here ( To be very realistic ) one point to be noted, If she claimed points of her dependent for her FSWP application and she got separated while application was in process & her husband inform CIC before landing than her visa could be cancelled and she'll become a subject of five years ban from Canada ( for not informing CIC about her separation ). If the separation took place later the application was finalized than no problem at all. Whatever the case she should land with her child immediately without any delay and apply for PR card. Her dependent DO NOT need to be with her at the time of landing. After getting the PR card she can inform CIC about her separation along legal papers to cancel her dependents Visa.

Best of Luck ;)

If the dependants are minors, then I think she will need to show a written permission from her husband to take the kids overseas. There is a template online somewhere, just google it.
