(I haved sent them the work experience letter in July 2012 online, the pay stubs were only listed on the check list as an alternative. They asked me for the pay stubs to confirm I haved worked 960 hours to meet the requirement. I think this is a double-check or final check before SINP nominate me)

(Actuall processing time was 21 days, from Janury 15, 2013 to February 5, 2013)

Total time it took: 6 months and 5 days.

PR Application: Compiling Documents and waiting for Policy certificate, it should be arriving within these two weeks (I haved asked my parents and parents-in-law to get my and my wife's Police certificate on January 15,2013 when I got to know that my application was in process because I know I would get my nomation pretty soon after that date. But don't quote me on your application, everybody's is different).

I will keep updating this post until I got my PR.

My file (Skilled Worker) is nearly 13 month in process and no even request for additional docs.

I guess your work permit is not expiring in awhile and so I can base my timeline with yours. It seems that in the other posts, students with expiring work permit have been given priority over our files.

My Post-Graduation work permit won't expire until October 1, 2014.

I am not quite sure how their priority system works.

My case was a bit complicated because I got married during the application process.

I initially applied online and sent out two updated application package (paper) to SINP. (This is not recommened by SINP but I got told to do so after I told them I got married.)

The first package was considered to be a loss and which was actually delivered and ... and ...

Some tips I summarized from my case are listed belowstudent stream can use these as reference)

-Paper application is faster than the Online application, at least for a short period of time, it will still be true.
All documents (Job Approval Form, work experience letter AND (not OR) pay stubs) submitted at the first time will be ideal.
Additional document can be sent through email instantly.

-Priority:
NOC- B (this definitely helps)
Asset (I bought a house and I sent them a copy of my land title to them, which is not necessary, but I think might be helpful)
Family/relatives (my wifes's brother and cousin are currently studying at high school in Saskatoon)

all the aboves "show" my "intention" to work and live in SK.

-Communication
Do not hesitate to contact them by email (their Phone line sucks, you will be only directed to voice mail)
"Please do not hesitate to contact us directly if you have further questions." as they stated in their email.
Ask them appropriate questions, not just questioning about the status.

Back in early August 2012, I sent them email ask about the processing time. They replied my 6 months on average.
My case took 6 months and 5 days which is pretty acurate.

The processing time now show on their websit is calculated based on 80% of all the applications.
(I guess the 20% they take out would be the ones take longest time to process).

My case actually took 21 days from "In process" to "Nominated" despite of the waiting time to received and upated. Mine is relatively fast.

Students 3.8
Post-Graducation Work Permit 3.8
Masters and PHD Graduates 3.6


Some cases I heard about only took 6 to 12 weeks to complete from the date they sent out their application (one was skilled worker and another was student: Master stream).

Additional Document request- not yet.

as of now haven't got any news. just fingers are crossed for good news.
