Meron na po ba ditong nagapply as single parent with dependent na naka apelido sa Tatay nya? Single mom po kasi ako, possible po ba ma deny kung di kasama ang tatay? Hiwalay na po kasi kami and meron na syang iba.

I applied for MPNP and I already received my LAA. I'm currently completing my full application for MPNP. I'm a single mom with 1 child. My child uses his Father's surname but we are not married. Is there any possibility that my application will be denied since the Father of my child will not accompany us? Should I still include him in my application? We never lived together.

As he is not your husband or common-law partner, the father does not need to be included in the app. However, he will need to give permission for the child to immigrate to Canada.

Hello,
I am not a lawyer but as per my knowledge if you do not want to include in application you have to proof legal divorce paper and if you are still not divorsed then according to canadian law you are still together and you need to show him in application. So my advice is to consult a immigration lawyer and if you are not together then you should have legal paper done that shows that you guys are not residing together.

He is just my boyfriend and we are not living together but our baby uses his surname.

That is why I am confused on what to do. He is willing to come with us though but go back to Philippines later. He will do it just to get us there. But if there will be no problem for him to come with us. I will not include him on my application. I just want to seek advise based on your experience just to make sure my application won't be denied. I will live with my sister in Canada.

You are saying i should share my experience, i am single and never married , so i have no experience. Lol. . And what you have replied before it does not show you was ever married . So just write as single and you will be good to go. You just had baby with him that does not mean you are married . No need of any legal papers. But for making this all sure just consult any lawyer. Canada accept three type of relationship . One is married, conjugal relation and other is common law. But you have none of above relationship with him. So you are single.

As I have already said, he is not your spouse or common-law partner, so CIC does not consider him a family member.

Hindi nman. Basta may documents kang patunay na pumayag yung father ng baby mo na sumama sayo yung bata. Ako kase nagpasign ng IMM5604 ska affidavit ng travel consent para mas sure. Aapply pa lang ako pero nagtanong ako sa immig if pwede d isama yung husband ko. pwede naman daw basta may proof na hiwalay kami. Pwede ka din pagawa ng affidavit na single parent ka. In my case, na-issuehan ako ng local DSWD ng Solo Parent ID. Makakatulong sayo yun. Goodluck!

Sis hindi mo naba sya ininclude sa application mo kahit di sya sasama sa inyo?

hindi ko na siya sinama kase sa email ko tinanong ko if pwede ko b syang hndi isama kase hiwalay nman na kami. basta daw may proof ako n hiwalay pwede nman daw. sa akin kase nagpagawa ako ng affidavit na hiwalay n kami tapos may mga napirmahan pa syang ibang affidavits din. pwede mo din tanungin ung immigration. iemail mo sila. sasagot naman sila. worried din ako before kase ung case ko kakaiba. kinwento ko s email ko yung ngyari tpos sabi wag ko n syang isama.submit ko lng ung docs n nabanggit ko at kung may kulang pa, magrerequest na lang sila.
