Thank you Shovon Vhai for your reply. I am just wondering if they follow any tracking system to clear out the older files (kind of first come first service)!!! I know couple of my friends who applied around 1.5 years after me and even completed medical tests after me, and they already got the request for passport. That raises the frustration level!!!

Hi,
Maybe they're works according NOC code.
Or time depend on various officers. We can't do anything without waiting...
One thing we can just pray for each other.

Dear Forum friends,

How are all? My family and I arrived in Winnipeg, Manitoba on December 30, 2014 and pretty much settled. Manitoba is a friendly place and I think it is great to live here. People who are planning to come in Winnipeg may email me for any query.

Regards,

Shovon Vhai,

You are right. We cannot do anything rather than crossing our fingers and pray for each other.
Is there any Bangladeshi applicant waiting for PPR for more than 6 months after completing medical?

Worry about our passport

The officer at the CVAC, who received my passport told me that generally it takes 3-4 months to affix the visa and return, and don't expect 1-month duration as stated in the letter. I used to suspect his word. However, now I partly believe that may be true!

Same day submitted 2 applicants passports. One return after 30 days later and another still under process.

siter pakhi,,,did cic request additional documents with medical ???

Hi redstone,

Yes, they asked for additional documents + ROPR fee + medical together. I sent the docs and ROPR fees almost at same time I did my medical (mid of August 2014). The additional documents included my updated employment records + my professional credential exam + police clearance certificate. I am not sure if they are spending time on checking those documents or not.

CONGRATULATION SIAM & NIRJHAR WHOS R GETTING VISA.

Happy for you guys.
