Medical checkup review- we did ours in Singapore at raffles medical.

1.they will pass u one set of forms, remember to bring your passports and 4 passport photos. You will be sticking the passport photos to their forms, filling and signing their set of forms

2. Container is passed to you to collect urine for urine test. Fill up half container so don't clear your bladder before doing the Medicals.

3. Injection on arm by nurse is given to draw blood samples

4. Height and weight and eye test by nurse

5. Checks by doctor- a need to strip to underwear

6. X-Ray

7. Pay bill-$160 each person and $80 courier fee

Entire checkup took approximately 1hr 15mins for both of us. They will send the Medicals once the lab tests are done which will be prob in 1 to 1.5 weeks time.

garytran>> i received medicals, with passport request and police clearance on the same day. Gonna do everything tomorrow, including submission of passports.

Hopefully everything will be smooth =)

eeeaaasssyyy>> have u done any case specific enquiry?

I did it for twice. Did not get any reply.

just retrieved my GCMS notes, applied for it in early feb. Seemed that ever since 2011, apart from updating my passport details(my passport expired) they have not touched my file at all until 20th feb 2014, so it seems that once they start opening your file, it shouldn't take that long. Eaassy yours is on the way!!

Paper file location has changed from the infamous AG00894 to another code. maybe he/she has moved on to another appointment.

This time, there's more stuffs on the written notes by the processing officer on 20th feb 2014, stating that they have reviewed the documents and no concerns of civil/identity documents, satisfied that we have met the requirements and is a member of provincial nominee class. Credible evidence of relationship to sponsor.

Another set of notes dated 18th feb 2014 stating that I have visited the visa office to enquire about my status

keeping fibers crossed. it's been a long while waiting.

hi all,

Today I went to undergo my medical exams and I got everything normal per as the results showed. Though I got high blood pressure (100 - 160) and I dont know if my application will get inadmissible due to this high blood pressure.

The doctor told me she will send the results to V.O as soon as it's complete and the VO will make the final say!

Anyone please advise or share with us!

Thanks alot
Alan

Hi alan-eatbread

My friend'case also got high blood pressure when he went to medical exam. Also, Doctor said okay for his case. Then, he also received the visa.

As Gary said, you don't need to worry about that, Alan.

Be happy, man!

Hi danny2009

When did your application transfer to Australia VO. My friend' case also transferred to Australia VO in September 2013 but She hasn't got any information from them until now.

Hi Seniors,

Pls help me answer this question,

If the Police clearance in Singapore(COC) is not available upon submission of documents to CIC, should I include a written explanation why the document is not available or I will just wait for the VO to send me a request for COC.

Appreciate your answers forum mates..

Thanks

I don't know when they transferred my application there, I just received requests for medical check as well as police check, and fee from them. They didn't tell me when they received my application.

rosy, you will receive the request of COC from VO almost the same time you will receive an MR and RPRF from them. The police will require the letter from the VO before you can proceed for COC application.

Danny & Gary,

Thanks a lot for ur sharing n the positives. I should be taking it easy from now as I already completed the medicals n the police certificate.

The decision is now up on them and the God's hands! Hope all is well for all of us!!!

Please check the processing time at Singapore VO at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm/provincial.asp#asia.

It is 30 months now.

Hope everyone's application will be processed at other VO in Manila or Sydney.
