Hello Everyone,

I just have collected my passports! It was quick! I sent it on 24th October through local VFS and it came back today. So it took only 18 days!! To be honest I don't have any emotions. Just bit angry at SVO for taking that long to process the application. I think that killed all my emotions. I am very worried about the future and what would be the life in Canada! Anyway The validity of visa 'till end of June. if everything is alright I will move to Canada in June.

congrats ffarin!!! at long last your worries and everything else comes to an end and soon you'll be on planning mode preparations. hopefully ours will soon come.

@ffarin11 congratulation. What's about Taivoi, luccy,kaisin....? I moved to Canada more than 2 months and was very busy and now I come back this forum to ask friends.

Hi Guys,
I have sent an email to Singapore VO to change my address and transfer my file to NDVO, they have updated my address, I can see that in e-cas, but no idea whether they have agreed to transfer my application to NVDO, if they don't agree. I have no choice but to wait for another 2 years

It really depends on them... In our case we choose CEM and in our aor from cio it was sign by CEM but it was forwarded to sgvo and our efforts to ask our agency to request for transfer to CEM seems pointless as they keep insisting that vo will only grant if vo feels that there is program integrity blah blah blah.... In short need to wait. I knew someone who process his own application and when they forwarded his application to sgvo he requested for transfer and was granted... Now he got the medical request from CEM.....

For all of you processing your own papers, you can try to request for transfer as thr only thing they say either your application be granted or they will make lame excu

Hello to everyone,

Would it be a good idea if upon sending my CIC application I would attach a letter of request to CIC to process my application to my home country CEM?I am worried if I choose CEM in my application and they will still forward my application to SGVO,so I am thinking to attach a letter of request to CIC together with my application so that CIC will know my intention of CEM as my VO. However this is just my idea,I hope it will work.As what I've read from the posters they requested transfer of VO only after they knew that their application was in SGVO.
Hope somebody could shed light on this.
