This was in the news, I only knew about this last month when
I filled up that AINP form.
 
I made a case specific enquiry in 2nd july 2013. they replied me on 15th October 2013 which as below:



Dear Sir,

Thank you for your enquiry to the Immigration Section of the High Commission of Canada in Singapore.


Your application is currently in a queue awaiting initial review.

Files in the Provincial Nominees category are processed in order of receipt, based on the date on which the complete application and fee payment were received in our office. Once the file has been reviewed, we will contact the applicant directly to advise the result of the initial review and/or any next steps in the processing of the application, such as whether an interview will be required. If your address or contact information changes during processing, you must inform this office in writing.

Processing times to finalization may vary depending on the number of new applications received and the individual complexity of each application. For the processing times of permanent resident applications in Singapore for the last 12 months, please refer to the CIC website at:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/index.asp


Please note that processing times are calculated from the date the application is received by the Singapore visa office.


Applicants can check the status of their case on the CIC website by clicking on Client Application Status.

Guys is there any hope that SGVO processing times will be shortened in coming time.

No Chance to decrease.it will be increase & may be it will be 28 month. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Is there any way, we can request to transfer our file to different VO.

hi everyone! Just want to share that my friend is currently a PR in Singapore applied also for PNP, and she had her VO in SG. She filed her application for Permanent Resident last January 2012, then last month, Sep.2013 the SG VO email her that her application was transferred to Australia VO because, the SG VO cannot process her application, and with in 6 months or less she willhear from the.

Does she know why her application was transferred to CIC Australia?

I got ppr by postal mail today!!! '' We are now ready to issue your immigration visa(s)!!!!!!'' Passport to send through local VFS service within 60 days from the date of the letter!!!!

Yes< she was informed by the SG that her application has been transferred to Australia for processing.
