Yes if you give her authorization to access your personal info. There are some extra papers needed to be filled out.

because i am thinking, if ever i go back to my country (philippines) for good, will they allow me to request for transfer of file to manila visa office? how long does it take for them to reply? thanks!

Yes I did request SVO to transfer my file back to Ottawa. Because all of my life events are happening in Canada, It will be faster to do my background check from Ottawa office. You can try send an email to request for a transfer, SVO will determine whether your file is eligible for a transfer. If not, they will refuse it right away. If yes, SVO and the visa office you want to transfer to will communicate with each other, until that visa office accept the transfer (sometimes they don't). All of these procedures will happen internally, you won't know anything about it, except you request for GCMS note, it will tell you.

Do they also check sponsor's background or his/her status? I don't think they have anything to do with sponsor.
In my case they reviewed my file every 2 months. taivoi if your medical was received on may 6th by cic then i think you will get ppr in 1st of july.

For immigration under family support, CIC verifies sponsor's status again before they grant visa, so now if the sponsor's status does not meet the requirements of the province, they will quit to issue the visa. For immigration under business PNP,before they grant visa, CIC verifies Applicant's current business,asset requirements ect.... and of couse if Applicant does not meet the requirements of the province, they will quit to grant visa although province issued the letter of nomination to Applicant before.

@ffarin I means for family support, CIC verify Applicant's sponsor's abilities that meet or doesn't meet the requirements of the province.So, changing address and changing job maybe affect to Applicant's immigration. For me, MPNP- Business, CIC has just verified my assets, bank statement... although I had enough conditions 3 years ago, but now they verify again before they grant visa for me and dependents

Thanks Steveheng71. I think if required they will ask to provide documents.They asked for similar documents in ivenal's case. for others they didn't. I'm under family stream. my sponsor moved to a new address but still residing in the same province. so it shouldn't be problem.

Yes, in PPR letter said allow for 2 weeks time to issue the Visa.
Yes, I did email them to update my Canada address. I was wondering, if Officer at the port of entry ask you did you inform your visa office about address change, and you say no, and Officer ask you back why didn't inform them, how would you answer them?

I do some searching on the web, noticed that one of the applicant when reached the port of entry, he told the officer that the Canada address has changed. Officer ask him did he inform the visa office before land in Canada? He said yes and show the officer the proof.
