Hi Taivoi, currently I am working in a retail store for 32 hours per week. Survival job. Got enrolled to some courses related to my background. Trying to obtain a student loan. That's it. There are few shocks for newcomers in Canada. Weather shock, Job search shock, working environment shock and cultural shock. Usually any newcomer will overcome these in first three months. I would say, just stick to your own research. Everybody has his or her own unique experience in Canada. But somehow it will take at least 3-4 years to get well settled in Canada. The sooner you adapt and adjust in the new environment, better is the chance to succeed.
