congrats taivoi! Good luck!

I check our status in ecas and still the same "Application Received" but some good news though - they said that they received our Medical results! :) (result sent to Manila Office).

"We received your application for permanent residence on August 3, 2011.
Medical results have been received."

Hope it will be PPR soon :)

Cỏngat bro, PPR should be sent out within 2 weeks depends on security check.

Hi all,
Thanks for the 'welcoming note', I just realized that this forum is largely for those who have submitted their application in the 2nd phase ie to the Singapore VO. Mine is actually still in Phase 1 ie the nomination process.

Nevertheless, the forum in general gives good insight on the real issues that most applicants face before, during and after the whole application process. It's also very informative on certain clarification not explicitly explained on most websites.

I noted that the application process in Sin VO really takes a long time, now with the revision of timeline as well. But strangely, I heard from some Singaporean friends that their application took only in avg of 8 months to finalize with nomination cert. I also have relatives in Malaysia claiming they had theirs done within a year, this is as recent as Feb 2012.
I'm a Singaporean and I'm equally anxious to know if mine will be processed within 23 months or sooner..

Depends on which category you are applying to. Like my case, I apply through Family Stream, MPNP, on 8th Sept 2011, until now still haven't receive MR.

Please check taivoi's signature link. He did a good job to list down all the applicant's timeline. You can refer to their waiting timeline to get some idea. Don't worry.
