Email and contact them. it shouldn't take that long to issue visa after MR. Your mail must have been lost. so you better contact them.

Hi Friends,

How are you all? Hope your waiting period end soon.

I'm going through a brutal winter here in Manitoba. It takes half an hour to dress properly just to go outside and puff a cigarette :). Doing some temporary jobs here and there. Still looking for a permanent job. The accent of people like us from Asia is not really accepted by the Canadian employers. They want more Canadian flavour. I would tell you all to do some more works with your speaking and (generally) keyboarding speed, before you arrive. If you are fluent enough in terms of Canadian standard and have at least 60 wpm keyboarding speed, survival jobs will knock you in the door (I don't know that much about Ontario though). And SGVO will always provide you extra time ;). All the best.

For the PR application, I didn't submit yet the NBI clearance since they just encourage you to have it. As for my SG clearance, it was clearly stated that they will send a separate letter to request for it since they that the SG govt requires a letter of request from the institution requiring it.

Anyway, I think a certified true copy is ok. Just put a note that you have submitted the original to CIC for the PR application.

hello @tutut, just wondering what is the status of your application now? I am also working here in SG and I think we are both under FSW Pilot scheme, so just checking your status :)

Nice to hear from you CRS. Apart from the weather, any other things to comment?
How much are they paying for the temporary jobs.
60wpm is kinda hard. attempted this http://www.typeonline.co.uk/typingspeed.php? and only attain 55wpm. haha...

Hi blitzk

Still waiting for AOR. It has been 2 months, 7 days since CIC received my application. I'm targetting to submit my OWP application before the month ends. I'm hoping that OWP is faster.

How about you?

Regards.

I did contact CIC 1 888 and each officer gave me different reason one says I just have to wait and call Sing Visa Office which I did and they wont answer any PR processing by phone and I sent them email but no response.
Other officer said the the system was down and just wait..it seem they are so slow n lazy to answer question from us

Hello guys,
I need to ask one question could you please answer..

I got my letter that I was eligible to sponsor..but on the letter my sponsored person's Last name appeared first and then her first name..and also on the website I see her last name n then first name..but my name shows normal (first name first n then last name last)..I am just worried did they take her last name as the first and first name as last as mistake??? or is it like this for everyone..please let me know!!!!

Also they emailed her that they received her application..also there it says her last name first and first name last!

Also on cic website same thing..

help??

bangla>>were u the one that filled up all the forms or the candidate filled up some of his/her forms. She might have mixed up first name and last name which results in the mix up?
