Dear All,

i have some query. my husband did his IELTS when he applied for AINP in 2009. in march 2012 he was nominated for that. now hw applied for PNP permanent resident ship. which show still now " application received". IELTs certificate validate for 2 years so his one is expired. is visa office required him for valid IELTs? please if anybody know about this please share.

So far, I never heard any pnp applicant required IELTS score by the visa office, even after expiration of the exam validity. So, relax. However, if they ask they will provide you ample time. Don't need to take the exam now.

Just landed yesterday. My Port of Entry was Montreal with a connecting flight to Winnipeg. The landing procedure was completed in 20 minutes. It was smoother than I expected. In Winnipeg its all white. Looks really nice at night with all those lights. Next Monday is my busy day for Stuffs like SIN Card application, Health card application etc. Talk to you later guys. All the best to you and wish me luck.

Hi Guys,

Seems I will be joining the long queue here in Singapore and looking at the timelines you have I should be expecting 2 years from now at least to get my papers processed, since I just recently received an AOR from CIO last 14 Nov and my paper will be forwarded to SG. Anyone who has tried to request to forward their papers to other visa office i.e. Manila Philippines. I am a Filipino and currently working here in Singapore

Really appreciate your inputs on this. Thanks! and Good luck to us all especially with the super slow process here in Singapore.

Weve tried but to no avail as cio still forwadred it to sgvo so now waiting and waiting....... How do you know theyre going to transfer it to sgvo? Wait and see after you receive your aor they may forward it to cem.... Keep the hope alive. We thought its cem as aor from cio was signed by cem but in the end it was sgvo who provided us with second aor. God bless!!!

Your POE can be any where. you just need to make them believe you are intending to land in your final destination. It would be your connecting flight's ticket. Somebody wants to land in Montreal needs QSW certificate. Well, I was not. After my landing procedure completed, I roamed around some places in Montreal, meet some friends and relatives; as I had six hours to spare. Bottom-line is, for PNP applicants, POE can be Vancouver/ Toronto/ Montreal with tickets connecting to destined province.

All my Filipino batchmates have already recieved their AOR from CEM with Medical Request, and its almost a month now I havent received any and learned from one the Filipino guy who has applied the same (PNP). He has nominated Manila as its VO, however after nearly two months of waiting he finally enquired from CIO and learned that his papers was forwarded to Rome Italy since he is a PR in that country. So I came to conlcusion that since I have been residing in Singapore for 8 years (even on Employment Pass) my papers might have been forwarded here. :( But my visa will expire early next year and have no plans of renewing it hence, I'm looking at the possibility of requesting for VO transfer. Anyway I have emailed NS-CIO, CEM and CHC Singapore to enquire with the hope that my email would merit a line soon :) ... Good luck to all of us.
