ffarin11, your file should be in-process by now after 16 months... hope they will speed up this mid-year.

Good luck!

Hi Guys, we receive a reply from SGVO and they said they have sent us a letter requesting to submit our passports through registered mail in Feb 2012 but we didn't receive the letter.

CRS, is there any forms included in the PPR letter? Do you think we can still submit our passports now without waiting for the post office to locate the letter? Is there any timeframe for PP submission from the issuance date of the letter?

Please advise what to do now guys.

I'm just worried that they have sent the letter to our mailbox and someone else got it and didn't give it to us since we are sharing mailboxes.

@Garu: it's good that they sent PPR, so you just send them PP? no need waiting for PPR. they should reply to your query few months ago regarding PPR had been sent.

If they replied to my query last March then I should have checked with the post office. Now, I'm not sure if the letter is still with the post office. I replied to to their email saying that we didn't receive the PPR letter and hoping that they will reply soon.

What I suggest you to do print out ppr form from online and send along with your passports. Write a letter to them stating reason of your delay. At the same time print out the corresponding emails and attach it with your letter. or wait a week to hear from them..

Hi Guys,

I been to our post office this morning and found out that our PPR letter was received by them last march 23. I am very disappointed because they did not send us any notice that we have a registered mail. The postman is very irresponsible because the letter has been on his locker for more than 3 months without doing any action.

The problem now is we were just given 60 days from the issuance date of the letter to comply or it may result for refusal of our visa. It's more than 3 months now since the letter was issued and I don't know what's gonna happen with our file, we are very worried now.

I already emailed SGVO but no reply yet so we plan to send our passports tomorrow with the covering letter explaining the situation and we will attached our conversation with the VO office.

Please advise guys if you have a better suggestion or if you know anyone with the same situation, how did they handle it and what was the outcome?
