Holy smoke guys,

Ottawa visa office is rocking with PPR

Applicants in this office is getting big PPR floods from this office just in about 6 months waiting time (even though it shows 13 months processing)

I guess new backlog reduction policy is really taking affect

Just hope Singapore VO will start to pick up speed like Ottawa as well.

Our e-cas status change last Friday, April 5, 2013.

It is now "Decision Made".

Hopefully SGVO will call us within this week.

I submitted my file on 8th Sept 2011.
30th April 2012 transfer to SGVO (KL Visa Office closed down)
18th July 2012 received AOR from SGVO

It means from 8th Sept 2011 till 30th April 2012 no one proceed my file in KL Visa Office. I'm quite frustrated when found out the truth. Now hope that SGVO can proceed my file quickly.

Looks like i am not alone in this..

i have sent my application in feb 2012 and since then my ecas shows same status (ie., application received).

I have sent an email asking for the status, got an automated notification saying they will get back in 28 days....its now well past 28 days but still no response...

Is there anything else that i can do like making phone call or fax etc??

Yeah i am aware of that but then when i applied SGVO timeline was 12 months....which is well past. That's why i thought will try.

I think some people misunderstand about processing times . Please see below :


If I apply today, will the processing times show how long it will take to finalize my application?

No. The processing times only show the time it took visa offices to approve or refuse 80 percent of applications during a specified period in the past. They may not accurately predict future processing times.
