i'm a bit doubtful about the processing time which is stated on CIC website. 18 months of processing time since AOR for 80% of the cases. It's been 8 months, going to 9 months since my AOR and I have yet to hear anything or see any updates on the ECAS website =( . I seriously do wonder if I can receive MR by Christmas this year. sigh sigh sigh.....I believe everyone here has to go through the same measure of waiting.....if only they can process faster, and see that every application is not just a file number but a real person waiting and waiting at the very end....

No idea at all. I'm now just in the beginning of waiting for the MR.

I'm not sure they start calculate from the date of received my application (on September 2011) or start from the date they gave me file number ( In July 2012). Confused. :

Anyway, will keep you guys updated once i receive the MR.

Hi bro, our initial destination is St George so we will land at St John airport via Toronto.

We have just submitted 2 months resignation notice to our employers. We are booked on Sept 30 to Philippines then Oct 15 to Canada. We have a bit of problem on transporting our personal effects because we can't find any shipping company who can do cargo all the way to New Brunswick. There is one company who quoted USD585/cubic meter but that's only up to the port of Montreal, Quebec.

Any movement on your files guys?

May be you can ask them whether can contact other shipping company in Quebec help ship your parcel to NB? I believe there is some company provide service that you need. Try look for it again and all the best!

did a brief check on local post and found out that they can deliver a parcel of 27cubic metros and 30kg at $160USD-surface parcel: takes 8 weeks....

I checked with post office and unfortunately, it is usd658 for 30kg from here to Canada.
