Just one question comes up to my mind if the processing time for province nominated applicant is 18 months but from when should we start counting this estimation? Is it from the date of application received by the federal govt. or the FT date is given by the visa office?

from the date that federal govt received your paper files.you may see this date in your CIC ,which shows "Date application received",you may press "check status and messages",then you will see this date.

The standard reply that I received when I asked them about status of application

from the date that federal govt received your paper files.you may see this date in your CIC ,which shows "Date application received",you may press "check status and messages",then you will see this date.

That is my concern. If it is, then I have left only 7 months to comply 18 months time limit. I don't know whether I will be lucky enough to get my visa within 7 months.

if more than 18 months,you will get other reply if you contact with SGVO by email.
