they mentioned that CIC has deployed extra staffs for certain VOs. Not sure if Singapore is one of them. It certainly is very very short handed, given the processing time they have for the applicants.

It has been almost three months since Medical Request Date and still no news. Any news from you luccy_di?

Actually, I did send an email to SVO last week but haven't received any feedback from them yet even a standard response

I'm also waiting, everyday hoping postman will come today! lol. requested for a gcms note abt a month ago and waiting for that as well.

No update from me. I didn't send any email coz I know they will never reply. rather I applied for a GCMS notes about a month ago and waiting for that.

Wanted to do a double checked to see if traveling to canada will affect my application
Emailing them takes months for them to reply so thought I should go down to ask and get immediate answers

1. Security guard of the building directed me to VAC at 11th floor Equity plaza instead

2. Headed down to VAC which was operated by third party company, VFS. Waited a good 20mins and was too that they wouldn't have my records as they just opened on the 15th. Was told strike in Singapore was still ongoing. Told me to do any enquiries online.

3. Went back to CIC and told the guard to allow me access so that I can do my enquiry. Went up. CIC security did not allow me to go in. Told me same thing abt emailing online. Reception counters at CIC was closed and seemed. It was 2pm...

Are they still working on our files or are they not?
Hopefully, with the VAC, sgvo will be more motivated to clear the backlogs they have. I need my medicals!!! Pafso officers, please get back to work!!
