I feel it really depends on the priorities of the VO. I know SVO can do fast work. In my previous transactions with them (I visited Canada twice), they were able to give my visa on time. No problem encountered. I even saw a man who got his visa in less than a week.

My feeling is migration application is one of their least priority hence the two year wait.

Both my medical result and documents reached to Singapore in the 1st week oh July. Just really tired of that long wait...
@ffarin Enjoy the waiting game ! !t early to hear their PPR at the moment. It was 9 weeks for my case

@stevenheng: it was 9 weeks for your case so may i ask how could you count it then ? Was it from the date when u finished the medical check or when you submitted ur additional docs ?

Im also tired of waiting to hear from them.

@ Luccy and ffafin. I didn't count from the date I finished medical check/add docs because it was not correct.
I counted like this : The date SGVO sent email to request me to submit passport - the date my ecas said " medical results received "= 9 weeks
SGVO has kept my passport for a month from the date they got it. But NO NEWS NOW. I am so boring

I think it matters more on when they receive your documents than the medical request date so that they can process further....
did you get decision made on e-cas yet steveheng71?

@ffarin.
This is my case only. For you and Luccy maybe shorter than me :)
My ecas said 'decision made' 3 weeks ago but no news at the moment.

Wait for 2nd address box appeared, then PP to be collected after few days, the delay maybe because of strikes....

Strike is not appeared at there. They ( SGVO) haven't worked as any rules. They like they do, and they don't like they don't do ! Look at the processing time in Asia and other areas, processing time at SGVO is one of some the longest waiting... but the annually targeted immigrant is very low vs China, India,Hongkong, Philippines...
They had mistake on my application, but I didn't get any apologizing from them . They have kept our passports for more than 1 month but NO NEWS at the moment. I think that staffs who process our application are short-time employees from Singapore so they are not professional employees. Maybe they are jealous with us !

wait is long at every stage of processing... :- @

@ steveheng and taivoi : thanks so much for your info :)

I really hate the fact that we always have to wait to hear from them. SVO - They review all cases so slowly to compare to other visa offices.

yup, wait and wait like forever.

just gotten my GCMS notes, it's long...anyone know where or what to look

1. Check for Assessment: (page2)
Eligibility - if said not started that's mean they haven't reviewed the file yet.

2. Due Date: the next bf'd

3. Checks for notes if any left by VO

4. Also see the file transfer history: you will know how your files have been moving..
