there's this hsbc service where they can set up a hsbc canadian account while u are at your home country. was thinking of doing that. not sure if thats the best way, any alternatives?

Heard that before but haven't go and find out the process.

wow, this week came with several good news Congrats to all.

@Kindrobot: normally, whenever Ecas turn on "in process" , MR comes just few days (start processing date maybe a weeks before in process status showing on ECAS), for those who got In process status on ECAS today, expect MR come within this week, I guess.

It's been 22days still haven't receive MR from SGVO. No letter or email from them. ECAS Change to in process when I didnt keep checking it. So I don't know when it turn into in process. Now waiting patiently for my MR to come. Any idea why it take so long for me to receive MR?

I have applied under QSW, My file has been received in KL VO(Malaysia) on Sep 2011, I did my medical exams on Nov 2011, it has been received but after 4 months the VO closed and files transferred to Sing VO 8), I haven't received any email or response from Sing VO. My e-case was always "In Process" and no changes have been occurred since "the medical results have been received" line was added.

anybody has any idea?? or any case similar to mine?? :

As you see my medical has been expired (On NOv 2012), they will ask for another MR?? what would be the probable time for PPR?? :-\

My suggestion is to order caips, while you contact sgvo via email, do it both.
