Hi , just wondering if anyone has an idea, regarding how many months does it take after medical for the request of pr? My husband’s medical has been received in May , after that haven’t heard anything from Cic. It’s has been 5 months after medical. I am so worried. What is the time period after medical?should I write to them? or should I wait ?

can you guys share timelines of your application and process? I noticed that most of the SVO applicants has to do medical after biometric. Am i wrong? Some of them received the request at the same time for both bio and medical. I am very curious about that.

My timeline:

2nd February-application process started
18 April- bio metrics done
1May-medical done
After that it’s almost 8 months in total since application process has started!

Hi: u can either wait or write an email to them regarding ur application status. If u r on interview queue, SVO don’t send a notification straight away rather they send it 4-6 weeks before the interview. Many waited and dint have any clue that they were on interview queue. I emailed them a month after my Medical and got the info that I m on interview queue. I know one more applicant who faced the same thing. If it’s getting delayed after the Medical, usually 2 things happen, either u r stuck in background check or u r on the interview que

Thanks a lot for your reply. It was very helpful. Now I know what to do. It is frustrating after waiting for such a long time, they may call for interview?!? I thought medical is the last step. Anyway, let’s see what happens.
