I sponsor my wife from Vietnam and we received AOR from Singapore office 15 february and it's in process since this date without any update.

I am not sure this will help or not. I saw and signed this anyway

They do.

However, for a spousal sponsorship just about all interviews are related to eligibility so once it is passed the chances of an interview are next to none.

Or they might just decide to do a 10 minute phone interview and save everyone the hassle.

Hi i wanna know what is the current average proccessing time for singapoore VO ? nd after files get transfered hw long it take for them to ask for the medical .. ?

Hi All,

I have a matter which I need your advice:

My wife sponsored me to Can and I already had visa. We will fly to Toronto next month. However, we are planning to move to Regina Saskatchewan since we have family there so I' wondering if I can move there with my wife because from the beginning we submited the file from Mississauga, we filled the address in Mississauga, Ontario so I don't know whether I will get trouble or not.

If someone who knows about this matter, please help me out.

Thanks a bunch

Congrat, as a PR you can live where ever you like in Canada ;). If you have the condition 51 on your copr, the only restriction would be that you have to live at the same address of your wife, should be an easy one :)

Hi Shineon39,

Thank you for your advice. I appreciate that. However, as soon as landing at Pearson Airport, going through the cútom, I will fly to Saskatchewan and my wife's address which I filled in my application. I haven't received the PR card yet so I really don't know if I can move to another province right after landing to Canada.

If you can wait to receive your pr card it would be easier, took 5 week for my wife to receive her card. If you can't wait then I dont know how to do sorry

Hi all,

I am new to this forum - We sponsored our parents and got a Medical Request yeatersay from Singapore.
1. How long does it usually take from this step to PPR (or decision made)?
2. How long on the passport / VISA does Canada usualy us to land once the decision is made? We would like to know an appropriate period of time from your past experience / approved applications so that we have a plan to wrap up stuff back home.
3. Does Interview is a normal step here? Is it a negative sign?

Thanks for all.

Hi there,

I hope someone can help me... My spouse is an S-Pass holder in Singapore. CIC E-CAS said "We sent you a correspondence on March 26th..." but we never got any email or new message from my spouse's myCIC account. I believe they are asking for the PA's Schedule A and PCC, which we uploaded through IRCC Web form last April 7th. Got a Med Request on April 11th. Now we cannot give them a PCC from Singapore because we have to make an appeal and present the request letter (which we don't have).

Our file is still in CPC-M before it gets transferred to its designated VO. Is the CIC going send us a PCC request letter once it gets transferred to SVO? Problem is, they keep claiming that they sent that letter but we never received it. Apparently most March Applicants are having the same issue.

Since this thread is based from Singapore, appreciate it if someone can help me. :)

Q#2 Your parent's PR Visa validity is based on what date they had a medical exam. For example, if your parents had med exam on April 11, 2017, assuming everything was ok and visa is approved, you have to land in Canada on/before April 11, 2018.

In some cases PR visa might have a different validity date, like say April 2020... But for example if you intend to land after April 11, 2018 (by example above) then you have to submit another medical exam.

Hello,

My passport was received by CIC-SG on 29 March. Anyone around that timeline? How long is it currently taking to get back paspost from CIC-SG?
