That's odd

Yeah,it is odd/weird for sure.Is it just a coincidence,or are they following up on a new immigrant(my wife),who landed back in Oct 2016.
Since i posted on here yesterday afternoon,i did receive a call last night.Statistics Canada did an interview over the phone with me,and wanted to know who was living at my residence. The questions were related to work/company that you are involved with including:wages, hours worked ect...I would be interested if anybody has any info on this?

also, there will be a monthly phone call for 5 consecutive months to update the total number of residents at my registered address.
My step-daughter has yet to land,as she is part of the PR application with my wife. The daughters Visa Stamp will expire June24/2017,so we have her landing May 27th,so,i wonder if thats what they are looking for? I dont know.

That's unusual!

Is it voluntarily or mandatory?

How do you know that they are actually from Statistics Canada?

Hey guys,

In ECAS it shows in process for permanent residance application and for sponsor its decision made. How do I know that file has been transferred to SGVO? Today it has changed from apolication received to in process.
TIA.

Sap12 if sponson site shows decision made that means sponsor is eligible. and on principal applicant site if it shows In Process that means fil already tranferred in visa office

CIC gonna contact u whether u need interview or not.

Ok thanks ... was just thinking that they keep the right to ask for an interview at any stage of the process before we receive ppr.

They do.

However, for a spousal sponsorship just about all interviews are related to eligibility so once it is passed the chances of an interview are next to none.
