Hi guys,

The timeline of most guys it seems that approximately 5 months require from file transfer to PPR for Singapore request. But CIC has decreased the time of processing. So, can anybody give me an idea, after new time frame became effective, how long it may take for SG visa office? Thanks in advance.

I think the timeline won't change. If you have a straight forward app (no interview) it will be between 5 and 8 month to get ppr. The timeline on cic website are not realistic in my own thought.

hi finally landed Toronto , my on board interview was for about 2 min ,no specific question, it was super easy. and finally started new canadian life. all the best

What I mean by everything back it's the passport with the visa in it and the COPR, And like ImABule said, you don't need to send anything to them anymore.

Thanks Shineon39, btw my passport tracking just say that : Visa application, tracking ID No. 20170224BASPPRT00531 – Your processed passport has been dispatched from the Canada Visa Office Singapore, on 17/03/2017 to the Canada Visa Application Centre. To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website.
I guess she will get it back in 2 days, becuz when she sent them it took 2 days too :D

For calling overseas I strongly suggest to buy skype credit or anything similar using internet, a sim card for overseas call would be very expensive.
With 10$ of skype credit my wife can call her family in Thailand for about 4 months, (she call her family ounce a week about 15-20 min each time)

For driving school I don't know how it works in Nova Scotia, every province are different and I'm from Quebec

Thnx Shineon , my husband already bought unlimited on Rebtel for one month to call overseas. i want to buy a sim card also. if anyone has idea?
i think i cant go to driving school until i get SIN.

You'll need SIN for everything important, it should be your first step. Go to Service Canada with your passport and COPR get asap

Has any New Permanent Residents received a Statistics Canada Labour Force Survey letter yet?
In the letter,it states that they would like to have an interview at your residence, and discuss the labour market.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thank you.
