to get u informed once again Photo specifications has been changed, i sent 2 copies and one copy contained my name nd DOB and signature of photographer behind.
my ques is did u guyz do that similarly before who got PPR?

Just an update guys since I have been away for a while.

I was at home visiting my family and came back Friday feb 10th with my wife and she landed on Toronto Pearson.
We decided to take some time before coming here even though PP received with stamp on November.

Simple landing, no question asked other than 2 question in COPR and explanation of condition 51.

Agree. I applied in March and medical in February. If medical expires they either can extend it or request you do a new one.

Did you get an interview request?

Next month will be a year since we applied and no interview request so far.

Do u know how many days it takes to get passport after dispatch from SVO to my country?

So my wife and I visited Canada for 3 weeks (her on TRV), and we arrived back in Singapore the first week of January.

CIC allowed us to extend the PPR (our deadline was originally Dec 21.)

We sent her passport to SVO about 10 days ago, and MyCIC says the application has been approved, and the notice on the VFS portal said her passport is on the way back to VFS. Guessing we'll get it today or tomorrow.

Finally, she will have her PR!

Many thanks to all the great people on this forum for providing invaluable info to us over the last year or so. This forum is a truly incredible resource, not only for information but also support (and as a tool to vent!) I don't know what we would have done without it.

So we got our passport back in 10 February. We are planning to go to Japan at 17 April for 2 weeks vacation and 1 May inshallah we will be landed in Canada. Thank you for everyone in this forum who always give positive advice and supports. For everyone who are still waiting have a faith and be patient. Your turn will come very very soon! ;D ;D ;D
