Thanks man! I should not read the link titles too literally. I did not think you can track your passport by "Tracking Your Application", but now I know different. Good news.

Visa application, tracking ID XXX – Your processed passport has been dispatched from the Canada Visa Office Singapore, on 30/11/2016 to the Canada Visa Application Centre. To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website

Holy cow, they requested the passport on the 22nd and sent it out on the 30th? That is a fast turn around for sure, good for you.

I'm a newbie here. Just wanted to know what it means when SVO sends you back an envelope containing all the proofs you submitted on your initial application? I am still lacking the police clearance and will submit it once I get hold lf it. But really wondering why everything was sent back to me in bulk. Ecas is still in process though. I don't have link to myCIC.

Normally they send back all the proofs you sent when they finished to assess your eligibilty(if your relationship is genuine). So if you didn'd get an interview letter it mean that is all good for eligibility. For sure before you get approuved they'll need your police certificate and security check done.

Hello, has anyone ever experienced their mycic application status flipping to "closed" but their final decision remains "not started"? What happens after that? Thanks!

Mycic finally flipped to closed and approved for me. I'm guessing they had to do an extra check as my file was processed in Manila but I've sent my passport to Singapore VO as I currently live here. Congrats and best of luck to everyone moving forward!

Update: Received passport and COPR!! ;D ;D ;D I guess "Urgent" means urgent sometimes because only took 11 days from PPR.
