Dear guys,
I have confused filling appendix B form that included with letter for passport request. About the column Spouse/partner , do i need to put my sponsor who is my partner on it. or just only I (Applicant) and my son only.

Nothing to worry, for appendix b just put your name under ''applicant'' nothing under spouse. And for dependant if your son has canadian passport you put nothing.

Husband's passport is ready to be picked up thank God!

from dropoff to pickup was 12 days for us. i'm assuming cos it was KL to SVO the time was shorter?
Regardless I am so excited. He's given in his resignation, now we're trying to decide on a date to fly.

12 days is pretty darn fast!!!! Congrats again!!!!

Leaving Vietnam on December 26 via Beijing and Vancouver for Edmonton. Booked through Air China and total was $816 USD. Flown a few times, not Korean Airlines but can't bet the price.

How long is your layover in Vancouver? The landing process is quick but sometime you have to wait to see an officer. My wife had to wait 1h30 before but the interview took only 15 min

816$!?!? Wow.. for both or for each ticket? Must be each ticket.. cheapest flight I can find from Jakarta for my wife without having to transit the US is $1700 CAD. It's ridiculous considering I paid $800 CAD round trip.

Ames: Layover is 4 hours in Beijing and had an option of 2 hours or 3.5 hours in Vancouver. I picked the 3.5 hours.

I don't know why but when you book from asia to Canada is more expensive than when you book from Canada to Asia.
When my wife visited me the round trip ticket Bangkok Quebec city cost me 2000$
The 3 times I visited my wife the roundtrip ticket cost me 1100$- 1250$ (transit throught usa and long layover) and 1580$ (no usa transit and good layover)
The one way ticket (Bangkok-Montreal) when my wife landed cost was 1650$

I keep checking ticket prices. Last Tues there was one thru guangzhou and Toronto leading from kl and landing in ottawa for only 630 CAD one way. Today the price for the same flight is 730 which still isn't bad. It's just picking a date at this point.

I have a TD visa so was using their expedia for TD site to check. I'm actually surprised it was that price cos expedia typically is more expensive than the rest. Check a little while ago.. price is now at 913 CAD for one way. Flight route itself isn't bad though, KL to Guangzhou to Toronto to Ottawa , 24.5 hr flight time. layovers arent long which will be good for him. and because of the time difference he'll be landing the same day he flies.

I checked Expedia as well and from KL to Ottawa was 670 USD and from Jakarta to Ottawa was 1212 USD. I can't wrap my head around why it's double from Jakarta. A flight from Jakarta to KL is like 50 bucks lol.

I fly only EVA and usually book expedia through TD because I have TD first class visa.

The few times I booked through travel agent they actually got me a far cheaper price. I double checked the flight with Expedia and the flight doesn't even show up on Expedia until couple weeks later. Don't know how these travel agents do it but just an alternative if you're looking for cheaper flights.
