Been approved on MyCIC, and now SVO has dispatched passport to VFS Dhaka on 23/11/2016. Any idea how long it may to take to be received at Dhaka?

My PP was dispatched on 22nd. I guess it takes 3-5 working days on an average.

My question are:

1.I sent additional documents to svo and they got it last Friday 18 November, should the status of review of submit documents change to something else or it will be there until the next steps coming such as final decision etc.?
2.How long the background check would be changed ? The background check changed to " in progress" on 9 Nov.
Any ideas , please share.

What additional document did they require? In my case it was the Police check, which I uploaded that changed it to "Provided". Then yesterday it again said "additional document required" and that was the Passport Request.

Thanks for your reply.the documents that they are required are tax assessment 2014 and 2015 from sponsor and also the returning plan to Canada. I didn't send online but by airmail. I tracked the mail by the tracking services that the mail provider is provided and it said dispatched.
I sent email to them for notify about changing address , my address on ecas has updated new address already , so in this case, is it possible that digital notify is faster updating , ?
I guess the Passport request, you get the message by email not by mail , right ? Or both ?

Do you think do I need to email to ask SVO about it or just wait and see? Right now , I don't get more email for any more documents.

Well when it was over a week after I know that the hard copy of the police certificate was delivered to the SVO and the status on the Ecas was still showing "provided" and not "Received" I did email them to ask if they could confirm receipt of the hard copy. They replied the next day that they did receive it. The day after that I got the email ( and Ecas message) to submit the passports.....probably just a coincidence.

Hi Everyone, a while ago I was notified that my PP is ready to be collected. I am really thankful to everyone in this forum for all your support and guidance.

I have a small inquiry regarding the PR card. Does CIC always send the card to the mailing address in Canada or sometimes they ask people o physically collect the card? I was thinking about landing in Canada at the end of November/the very beginning of December and return to my country by 1st week of January due to some family issue. I know it is unlikely to get the card between that period of time, and I was thinking if CIC always mails the card to my address in Canada, someone can just send me the card via express mail to my home country. On the other hand, if it does not work like this way, how much do I need to pay for the Permanent Resident Travel Document and how long does o take to have the document at hand? According to this page (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/result.asp… ), there are two separate payment sections which is a bit confusing. If anyone has gone through a similar experience, can you please share the experience with us? Thanks

Hi

You apply for the card and it will be mailed to the sponsors address. It will take several weeks to arrive. If you will be gone for that long someone can mail it to you.

The PRTD costs $50 CAD. If you apply on paper through the CVAC there will be additional fees.

As far as I know they only mail it to a canadian address.
