There were two applications:

1) Sonsorship application processed by Missisauga office.
2) Sponsored person's application processed by the designated visa office. In your case it is SVO. The application package sent by Missisauga.

None under spousal sponsorship application send the package directly to respective visa offices outside Canada! So why that question was asked?

As others suggested you can write, No (as both the application originally sent to Missisauga). But if you are confused there will be no harm as you have your own unique UCI number.

Alot of you on this thread know that my husband and I are still waiting on an interview date. However this morning the both of us received an email from SVO asking for an updated medical and police certificate. Is that weird?

No, unfortunately no recent gcms notes. I didn't bother given that I have been waiting on an interview date since June. Since that the only correspondence has been asking me to forward them pics from our wedding and honeymoon. No other updates so I don't know.. Medical was done in September 2015, police check was done last August 2015.

Seems to me, and don't get too excited, but it seems to me in my opinion, that they might now be satisfied with your marriage and intend to waive the interview altogether. I've never really seen anyone asked for these docs before the date for an interview has even been given.

I am planning to send the same things to svo as I'm currently in Indonesia until the end of January.

Pls let us know what happens after new med and pcc

I had just logged in to PM you and thank God you'd replied. my husband checked his GCKey account and there was an update on there. Under Scheduling an interview it now says : the applicant's interview has been cancelled.

I cannot believe it.

he didnt get any email that his account had been updated but when we logged in it shows the email sent out regarding redoing the medical and getting updated docs.

This is crazy ridiculous but I'm just so full of thanks to God.. I bawled my eyes out at work.

I'll keep you guys updated on what's happening. He's gonna get his medical done tomorrow and the police certificate is an online application which will be done complete in about a week.
