Hey Kalz!

That's good to hear! Also, I am fairly certain that an interview request will happen before they deny it(according to some folks from church who had gone through this process), so it's looking like a good sign. Im so happy you got some sort of correspondence from SVO, things had quietened down a bit, or so it seemed haha. Keep us updated of any changes on ECAS, best of luck to you two!

htquach is 100% correct.

There will always be an interview/request for more proofs before a denial with the only exception being if the PA is clearly inadmissible due to something like a blatant misrepresentation, in which case you would recieve the procedural fairness letter.

Re-medical request is always a good sign.

I'm surprised they waited so long to request PCC from Russia.

Hi guys, my husband received email from svo stating the need for me to do remedical and the submit the "cert of no criminal record from russia" within 30 days. I was studying in russia for 6 years and thus the request. Wen I submitted the application I already gave them the cert of good conduct from malaysia. And at the bottom there is a

Note: We are returning the original documents/photos you submitted in support of your relationship with your sponsor via Registered mail.

Is tat good or bad?
I kinda need to go the consular depart of russian embassay for the police cert ( well they wil apply in russia n then later I wil collect it from them) hopefully in time frame of 30 days.

We got a similar email asking for remedical and a note stating they are sending our documents back. This was 2 weeks ago (June 6th). We sent medical same day and received docs back within 5-6 days. No correspondences since and no updates in ECAS. We hadn't heard from SVO since Dec 1st until this and ECAS hasn't changed since then December as well. We only received SA and AOR2.

I'm thinking they will revisit our file in 30 days since that's the time limit they had given us. But who knows...best of luck to all of us!

We abandoned TRV. Applied for our first ever GCMS in May. Messed up when applying by selecting Privacy Act and not ATIP. Later they emailed me back and I replied back with payment. Not sure if it went through properly. Expecting that any day now. I'll wait till the 1st of July and order again.

My notes are due July 4.

We postponed our TRV app as the temp agency I was working my second job through ended my contract and so I can't submit any of that financial information anymore. I've started a new second job and will accumulate some pay stubs and bank statements and then we will think about applying if PPR doesn't come.

I will join in with my two cents.

Second set of notes coming mid-July. I am a TRV reject. In hindsight, sort of a waste of $180. In my opinion, they are pretty tough tests for our specific situation to pass. Oh well, all you can is try.

I don't care about the fee.

Jakarta granted my friends wife a TRV/ study permit and she had no employment history, no ties to her country, no assets or money and my friend didn't even show his finances, just a letter from his parents saying they will pay her tuition.

I tried the same thing after I married my wife and it was refused. Cost me $150 but I really don't care. Luck of the draw I suppose.

I'm sorry abt the trv reject htquach and ImABule. Hoping tings will look gud in near future.

Thank you ames219 and Bonmanush. Yeah I tink they will revisit the file after 30 days. I kinda read it sum where in the forum where the person said the officer will check our files and if there is anything lacking wil send us the notification and then put our file aside n start processing other applicants file. After the certain time frame (30days) they will look into our file again n see wether v have submitted the necessary documents bfore carrying forward with our application.

I'd expect that to be the standard protocol. So, I had replied back to their email confirming to their request and also submitted a case specific enquiry to hopefully bring something to their attention.

Good luck getting the Russian PCC back in time.
