ZZzzz...

Your wife will need to pick up her passport from the Canadian High Commission Dhaka. Dhaka HC will communicate with your wife once her passport comes back to Dhaka and ready for pick up.

My wife submitted her passport last Sunday and she was asked to do the same.

Welcome to Icy Canada you all......

hello Farhanz and ZZZ could u plz tell me whether my timeline is in correct order. I was thinking about getting ppr before my birthday and when i saw the postman I was really happy and started to thinkinh that my dream is gonna true but what I have got that was totally unexpected..:(

And now i need ur suggestions....

I hope it's right order check with ure family members also

it looks like it's solid w/o any gaps

Sadatul, your time line looks all right, I am not sure if you left out the details because this is a forum, but just incase, make sure to remember to write what you were doing during those times. We put as much detail in for ours, so it made it easier for the IO to check and verify. The easier you can make their job, the better it is for your application, well that is what I think anyways.

farhanz on your wifes appendix a
it asks "how would you like us to return your passport?" air mail, registered mail, courier, inperson
which one did u select? would it be in person considering she has to go to dhaka hc to pick it up?

farhanz the appendix b also asks for a self addressed envelope 12"x8" does this need postage paid

mine was approved in canada early Nov and sent to singapore but no updates yet on status . .. how long is the wait before the in-process appears in ecas? i understand they don't send AOR ,Thx

Canadian enforcer you should see the status changing pretty soon I hope. mine took few weeks I think

Zzzz....

You have to tick "in person" since your wife will be picking up the passport from the HC. You have to provide the self addressed envelope so that they can post you a letter asking your wife to pick up her passport when it's ready. I know it's weird in this digital age that instead of calling you they still send you a letter (and waste another 3/4 days in the process).

I hope that helps.

My wife is finally here, and we are both very happy.

Thank you to everyone who posts questions and answers in this and other threads. It made a huge difference in having some insight into the immigration process, and reducing my concerns during the long periods of no updates from Immigration.

Best of luck to those of you who are still in the midst of the process.

I am so happy for you Victorialad..Congratulations to both of you..

farhanz thanks for your reply, does the self addressed envelope need postage stamps? it does not say anything about postage fees in appendix b.

they are not going to mail her the copr and fd01 are they? all the documents along with passport will stay at hc for her to pick up right?
