Yep, that's what I assume. The wife is off to the Internet cafe today to scan a new consent form lol.

Pro tip: You can ask your wife to sign 2-5 consent forms for the next 2-5 months :P :P.

Pro tip #2: You can ask your wife to sign one, and then just photoshop and change the dates. That's what we did.

Got my second set of notes today. Still says nothing started.

There was a note saying they recieved the updated form and additional relationship evidence we sent though.

Good news is they are adding the additional information in your file?? I am going to request second set next week and hope to see notes on additional information, at minimum.

Wife had biometrics done yesterday for TVR. Very long shot!!! HAHAHAHHA.... sometimes, I feel like I wasted $180 for TVR.

Yeah it says they received the proofs.

What do you put on the "funds available for stay in Canada" on the TRV form when we would be living off of my salary and don't have all funds already in the bank?

We put down what is in her bank account (I was going to add my funds, but figure I did not want to answer the discrepancy between her bank account and the amount entered). It shows enough to cover the costs of the trip but she included a statement that we discussed and agreed that I would be financially responsible for wife's return flight, accommodations, meals, entertainment and any other related travel costs.

I included the same thing in my letter. Provided four months statements and TFSA funds from my accounts.

Hey, did you have letters of support in your file? If so, do you mind sharing who you requested it from?

Thinking I should get a few to add to the file. Gonna make CIC tire of my additional information!!!

Sending additional information is not required. However, I think most people will say the more quality evidence to support your file, the better. I submitted evidence of additional trips my wife and I have taken outside of Vietnam after submitting our original application.

Regarding your USA exam, I am not sure what you are asking... sorry.

We had letters from her parents, my parents, her friend, mutual friend, her brother, and my ex.

See, that's the thing. I support my wife financially and she doesn't work in her home country. Therefore her bank acc is empty. I also said I would fully finance her trip but I will be relying on both money I'll have in my acc by the time she comes and my salary I earn while she's here. I'm confused what to put in that box.

Maybe put down the total of your account supported by four months of statement? Then add a note explaining this?

When I was filling out that field, I was very hesitant to put just her account funds even though she has enough. I thought long and hard about putting in both of our figures, but decided to use her funds only because I will include my financial details in the letter of financial support.

sorry, i hav exam in usa in august. as an international examinee i need to show passport there. SVO needs passport or interview not sure actaully. thats why.
