Hello everyone,

to Shineon39 : I literally went to Bangladesh on Jun 5th, my Aunt arranged to see the girl on 9th and that was the first time we met. and then we officially got married on June 12th (3 days after we first met).

to phamhainguyen68: you should have received your ATIP by now as CIC has about 30/31 days to reply and they usually reply back to you on the very last day. I applied for ATIP on Feb 2nd and I have received it around March 4th. You should contact CIC regarding this.

to ames219: Thanks :). it is frustrating, I guess Syrian refugees are the absolute priority now.

to faisalmohamed : I am not 100% sure what you meant by "assigned back to RC-6057 (Singapore) but rather RC-9570 (Mississauga)". As much as I know, my file went to Singapore and the notes section, it states that the Singapore office left the notes? Does it mean there will be more delay?

you have also mentioned " I think for cases that are borderline WAV or have other concerns they most definitely will go through to a superior officer to handle." would be kind to explain a bit more?

Thanks a bunch.

Hi amipocha,

I have just received the notes today, after I sent them an email asking for the update. I would like to share the content of our notes to everyone. The notes was pulled from the system on March 15, 2016 (one day after I sent ATIP request).

Eligibility:
- Status: recommend passed
- Status Updated Date: 2016/01/05
- Assigned To: RC-9570

It seems the first officer in Singapore VO has reviewed our file and satisfied with our relationship. He recommended passed on 2016/01/05 (a month after we received our AOR2). Now it has been assigned to another (senior?) officer in Mississauga office for final review.

Notes for Summary of Development & Length of the Relationship:
- Marriage Certificate: registered [date of our Marriage Cert], [city].
- They knew each other since High School, [year of our high school's first year].
- M/ceremony [date of our wedding ceremony].
- Advised cohab [time period after our wedding ceremony until I officially moved to Canada].
- [time period I had a project in Singapore] advised that he was in Singapore for a project; with visits by PA. Copys of photos seen.
- He landed [date I landed Canada to get my PR] under his mother's FC1
- He returned to VN [date I returned to VN to register our marriage certificate] to register their marriage.
- First marriage for both.
- Same age: married at age [our age].
- Educated couple: PA is [my wife's occupation] [my wife's current employer], Male Spr is an [my occupation] for [my current employer], [my monthly salary]
- Relationship appears b.f.
- Recommend WAV

Judging from this note, even though educational level, employment status and month salary are not mandatory, they seem to be plus points to the officers. Recommend WAV (not mp3 or m4a :P :P) is a really good sign for us here.
By the way, I do not understand what b.f. is. Does anyone have any idea?

My guess is b.f. stands for bonafide. what's mp3 and m4a?

Congrats phamhainguyen68. I'll always remember that great feeling too when reading the GCMS notes to find that there's no interview. Congrats, now expect the visa to arrive in a couple more months.

Thank you ImABule. That makes sense., Sorry for the mp3, and m4a thingy if it confuses you, it was just my joke. WAV, like MP3 or M4A, is a format of digital music files (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WAV).

Thank you, mikeymyke. It is actually a really great feeling. Maybe I have to checkup my heart in the preparation for the PPR :D :D

Also, I have learned a lot from your posts in the forum. Thank you for that as well ;)

That's what I thought lol, but wasn't sure.

Thank you Shineon39,

The GCMS note is really a savior for us since it gives us the insight of what the VO has been done to our files (ECAS is useless most of the time) for us to act accordingly. My best wish to your notes as well.

Thank you, as soon as I get my note I'll let you know what's going on on our case ;)

It seems like an eternity waiting for them. My file was just transferred but I ordered them anyways because I want to see the initial comments from Mississauga to SVO.

I'll update as well.
