Hi guys,
I am new in this forum. I am September applicants. My both SA and PR ecas status shows "in process" since December 2015. My medical is expiring next month. when I'll get my re-medical and PPR? Any kinds of advise is hugely appreciated.

Is there a 10 post requirement do that timeline seen on the left side?

I just sent my application on Monday March 14 to Mississauga and they received it on March 16. The waiting begins.

I lived with my wife all of 2014 and split half year in 2015 and 2016 between Canada and Vietnam making 2 trips per year.
We have an 8 month old daughter who has Canadian passport but was born in Vietnam.

I hope we get approved quickly. It's tiring flying back and forth 20 hours. I've racked up so much mileage points I get VIP lounge at the airport.

I do have one worry though that might delay my application. My income. I don't work for an employer and because I spent all of 2014 in Vietnam I had to submit my 2014 Notice of Assessment which was below $10,000. My 2015 income was high but mainly capital gains which I don't know if they will accept.

Yep there is 10 post requirement for the timeline on the left side. And Don't worry about you're income, there is no minimum for sponsoring you're wife and you're daughter has canadian passport :D

Welcome in the waiting game ;)

thanks

1 more post to go

oh 1 last worry.

On the appendix A checklist for country specific to Vietnam the last checkbox asked for 5 passport sized photos.

Since I'm back in Canada and didn't want further delay asking my wife to take pictures and mail it over I didn't include the photos nor the appendix A checklist.

Will there be any problems?

Good morning everyone,

Is it me only thinking this way that the Singapore Visa office is being super slow now? My timelines are below and I haven't heard anything since then, a bit frustrated with the wait.

I have done an ATIP request where I didn't see anything negative. The comment section (in ATIP) ended with, "Recommended WAV". What does that mean?

Thanks everyone.

To be honest I don't think it's just the Singapore VO. A few other threads I'm on have mentioned that things have slowed down. Even my local VO (ottawa) that's apparently really fast has had no updates. We'll just have to keep on waiting I guess.

Hi amipocha,

It is indeed slow since I have not seen any update of anyone (at least in this forum) whose applications are in Singapore VO. May I ask you when you requested your ATIP? I requested it on March 14th but have not received it yet :(.

There's no spreadsheet, just look at my timeline and signature and you'll have an idea how long it took me to get to certain stages.

I've also gotten "possible WAV" from my GCMS notes as well.

Like Shineon mentioned, another member pointed out to me that it potentially means wavier for the interview. So far it looks good, seems that the case hasn't been "assigned" back to RC-6057 (Singapore) but rather RC-9570 (Mississauga). I think what happens at this point is that the Singapore VO looks at the case and gives it the all clear, a senior official may/may not go through the file as well, I think for cases that are borderline WAV or have other concerns they most definitely will go through to a superior officer to handle.

After that I assume Mississauga gets the notice and they review it once more. Granted they do not have the physical file (or maybe they do! I heard that they don't mail the file, they simply digitize it by scanning it). Once they're satisfied they'll formally waive the interview, although at this point (if my knowledge is correct about this) they themselves can also request an interview to be done.

Despite your application being sent over 3 weeks earlier than ours, the timelines for us are quite close, they differ by only around a week or less.

Hello everyone,

to Shineon39 : I literally went to Bangladesh on Jun 5th, my Aunt arranged to see the girl on 9th and that was the first time we met. and then we officially got married on June 12th (3 days after we first met).

to phamhainguyen68: you should have received your ATIP by now as CIC has about 30/31 days to reply and they usually reply back to you on the very last day. I applied for ATIP on Feb 2nd and I have received it around March 4th. You should contact CIC regarding this.

to ames219: Thanks :). it is frustrating, I guess Syrian refugees are the absolute priority now.

to faisalmohamed : I am not 100% sure what you meant by "assigned back to RC-6057 (Singapore) but rather RC-9570 (Mississauga)". As much as I know, my file went to Singapore and the notes section, it states that the Singapore office left the notes? Does it mean there will be more delay?

you have also mentioned " I think for cases that are borderline WAV or have other concerns they most definitely will go through to a superior officer to handle." would be kind to explain a bit more?

Thanks a bunch.
