Hi JRSM. I sent my passport 1/11 and yesterday I got a notification to get my passport. I just went to get the passport right way . Don't worry you are gonna receive your passport next week. They took 30 days for my passport

hi every one , i receive letter from CIC singapore that i m on interview que on 28 July 2015 , i live in Thailand
and Waiting time is 24 month , but normally CIC singapore schedule interview after how many month , i am
9th October 2014 applicant , i did DNA test for child parent relation and when i was in canada but now i am waiting
for interview ,any advise from seniors

Hi there everyone,

First of all, thank you for contributing to this forum to make it easier for newcomers like me.

I am Singaporean and my fiancee is Canadian. She will sponsor me as spouse once we get married next year. We are both living and working in Singapore currently (she moved over after high school, but still has some uncles and aunts living in Canada).

My question is, do you guys foresee any problems with our application, since both of us effectively do not have Canadian experience in the job markets, nor any property etc in Canada.

Just want to hear your opinions/ advise, so me and my fiancee can take some early actions to speed up our application process later on.

Here is how my wife's status now displays on the CIC web site. It was originally sent to Mississauga by my lawyer and from what I understand it will be transferred to Singapore.


Permanent Residence

1) We received your application for permanent residence on July 23, 2015.
2)We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on October 9, 2015.
3)We started processing your application on September 23, 2015.
4)Medical results have been received.
