Hi Singapore Applicants!!

I just got a email from SG-VO and requesting the ff:

COMPLETE A MEDICAL EXAMINATION:
 Within thirty (30) days of the date of this letter, a medical examination must be
completed by:
1. you
2. your spouse/common-law partner (if applicable)
3. each of your dependent children letter.
Failure to comply with these instructions may result in the refusal of your application.

-- My question is.. I have provided all of these documents already on the whole package for our application. Should all of these request be necessarily new? I mean, can i just send them the one i have provided on my first package. And does the sponsor have to provide a medical also? Is there anyone here had the same situation as mine. Looking forward on your feedback/opinion on how should i go about these.

Thank you and God Bless!!

Congrts, this is the step to issue you the visa. This step happned in my case too.

Only applicant and dependent on Applicant should do medical. Sponsor do not need to do medical. Give everything new. Form 5669 should be upto current date.

Hi Shaw!

I realized that most of it will expire in a month so we'll be providing them new ones and will send it right away! Thank you for your insight Shaw:-)

Happy to share also that my ECAS has updated today to "In process" :-)

Hey folks!

Our file was transferred to the Singapore Visa Office. Please see our timeline below:

Medical date: April 1, 2015
Application received by CIC: May 28, 2015
AOR1: July 8, 2015
SA: July 27, 2015

What are the current wait times for the Singapore office?

Look at my timeline, Singapore VO will go very quickly if you have a straightforward file.

Thanks mikeymyke.

We just got our AOR2 email from SVO where the file was received on 2015/08/03. :)

We noticed that my wife has a separate UCI in the AOR2 email from SVO, than the one I received in the AOR earlier. Will the ECAS login be separate for my wife with her UCI and details? We checked but she isn't able to log in at this time. Does anyone know if it takes a while for us to be able to login into ECAS with this new UCI?

Thanks!

It doesn't matter which UCI you use in this case, both will show you the progress of the PR application.

Dear Shaw,
how many days normally taken to back pp after receiving SVO??
Thanks

Hi mek

Now-a-days SVO is slow-down.

You please give a call to VFS, Dhaka and ask them. Because they send the PP and receive it from SVO and they can give you right answer.

Pray that you get back your pp soon.

Shaw

Thank god that finally my e-cas change to in process when I check it today.
Now pray that everything is OK and I will get passport request next! :D

Singapore Outland Spouse Sponsorship

Hi,

Can someone here give an idea on the average processing time for the spousal sponsorship application, where Sponsor is “Permanent Canadian Resident” and the spouse is “Citizen of Singapore”?

Thanks.

It should just be the same as all the other applicants in Singapore VO, expect around 6-8 months for a straightforward case.

Hi mikeymyke,

Your feedback is much appreciated. Also, I have few more questions that I hope you could answer as well.

1) Since Singapore is a visa exempt country, so can the sponsored person continue to come to Canada on short visits, after the PR application is submitted.

2) You mentioned average processing time of 16 months. But today I noticed on CIC website it’s 27 months for Singapore office. I’m just wondering if you could help me understand why there is such a huge difference, i.e. 16 vs 27. I think I'm missing something here.

Thanks,

Sorry I meant how come the difference is 6-8 months vs 27 months.
