Hi SophieNguyen,
I agree with your lawyer and think you should wait a few more weeks. It sounds to me like you will receive the passport request soon. I very very surprised by how short a time it has been, since your application was received in Singapore. Most people wait a much longer time. Hopefully the trend will continue for others.

Please let me know what happens next for you.

And best of luck.

Hi SophieNguyen,
That is very good news! I am very pleased for you. Only a few more weeks of waiting and you will have your visa! It is easy from this point forward.

I heard today that they have matched the medical records sent in March with our application sent in June. This tells me that they are working on the file, so hopefully we'll have some more news in a month or so.

Hi, all
May I ask you guys some questions ???
just confused about you guys talking about paid PRF what is it?? Why we have to pay it again?? Is it the same thing that we paid for CIC?? :o

Anybody can explain me about that please...

Help

My wife is in Vietnam and Singapore started processing her application on July 2010. She received a package contained all supporting documents and stating that is is on the interview list. The queqe for the interview is 18 months from the date she recieved this letter. The letter also wants myself (sponsor) to have police clearance sent to singapore by Ottawa. anyone is experiencing with this issue? any comments or helps would be much appreciated.

Hello everyone,

I have a question in regards to how long it took you to get your AOR from Singapore once your application began processing. They began processing our application on the 31st of August and we have not received the AOR in the mail yet, we are in Thailand. Is this a normal wait time still?

Thanks for your replies in advance.

singapore is a joke....

my wait is now 11months and 15 days.

they sent my old lady all our pics, paper work, etc back to her on june2010 and a letter saying she on the interview list.
In that letter it also says they will contact and inform her the date, time, and location of her interview.

the end of this September will be 3 months of waiting on a date, time, location for my wife's interview.

i swear these people are MORONS! just for an interview date!!!!

i havent seen my wife in a lil over a year, i miss her, i love her.

but this long process is starting to make us slip away from each other.......

goodluck to everyone else out there because i sure need it
