Hey guys, the Singapore Visa office asked for my wife's passport by email. What's the proper mailing address to send the passport there?
Looks like our visa will be granted very soon. I just paid the Right of Permanent residence fee today.

Please note that we have requested your spouse to submit her passport for visa issuance on 28Oct14. Please also note that Right of Permanent residence fee is still outstanding.

Is this the correct mailing address for courier?

Hello Everyone,
the current spreadsheet that exists for Singapore timeline is outdated and hasn't been updated for a while due to locked by one user and we can't edit our info.
Old link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?key=0AhglzgJsI5lXdDdUdDZ6dVYzY3hsa0RDcC1RYW1zZGc&output=html

I have just created a spreadsheet for all the 2014 applicants whose file is getting processed in Singapore. Feel free to update the timeline below with respective dates and comments:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1fRlo_Gh3reOTu6kA8gAJufcX636wWwbv_s2zG5ZnAf8/edit?usp=sharing

If you don't see your name in the spreadsheet above, and your file is being processed at SVO, I kindly ask that you update the spreadsheet with your info.
thank you,

:)

Hi everyone here's an update to my status and timeline.

I'm a naturalized Canadian, my wife is Vietnamese and was pregnant when we sent in our application.
Sent our application in on 6/2/2014.
Received sponsorship approval 7/29/2014.
Received applicant AOR on 9/2/2014. It was emailed to my wife.
They also emailed my wife and told her to send birth certificate and 3 passport photos of the baby within 60 days of birth.
Ordered GCMS notes on 10/7/2014.
Our beautiful baby girl was born on 11/2/2014 ;D
Our application set to IN-PROCESS in ECAS 11/12/2014
Received our GCMS notes on 11/13/2014;
- the notes said that my wife's file had a status of "Recommend Passed" and the comments section had "RECOMMEND WAV" so I'm guessing our interview is waived ;D

Now we just need to send Singapore my baby's birth certificate and passport photos so they can continue processing our application.

Jennifoysol, I can't seem to update the new timeline spreadsheet that you created.

Now you will received pp request by mail within 2/3 weeks from SVO. As soon as you submit PP at VFS you will receive visa within one month ( by Christmas).

Then we will welcome your spouse in Canada ( As we are Canadian).

Thanks, so once we receive the Visa for my wife, how long is the expiry on the visa? Basically how long do we have before we have to land in Canada after getting the visa? I still need to get a Canadian passport for my baby so just wondering how many months I have to get this passport.

Your wife's visa will expire either 1 year since her latest medical exam, or when her passport expires; whichever comes first.

To get a full passport for your baby, your baby will need to get a Canadian citizenship certificate. However I believe it takes around 9 months for a citizenship certificate to get processed, which means getting your baby's *full* passport will take at least that long too to be issued. Instead, what you can do is apply for your baby's citizenship certificate (just contact the Canadian embassy in Vietnam to get instructions on how to do that), and then get a *temporary* passport (it only has 8 pages and is valid for only 1 year) for your baby. If I remember correctly, it takes up to 1 month for a temporary passport to be issued.

Good luck!

Hi all,

I just submitted my passport yeaterday. Still very nervous since i read so many cases got their passports back along with interview letter.

My case has a unique point is that we got married last year but didnt have a reception or traditional ceremony when we apply for PR. We just done our reception begining of this november. Should i send them our update which is pictures of ceremony and reception and trips traveled with my husband and his family? Or should i just wait? My husband says if they ask for the passport then pretty much they already have a decision. I dont kn whats best to do!

Your advice will be very much appericated.

I can't comment on sending the pictures or not but I think you should at least order GCMS notes so you know what they have been saying about your application... of course it will take about one month to get the notes. Its only $5 and worth it if worst case scenario you get interview request.

So I got the PPR today ;D

It was emailed to both myself and my wife's email. They also sent back parts of our application in the mail (our photos and some boarding passes that we used as relationship evidence).
