:) hi guys I am sponsoring my wife in singapore and I am living here in canada. I passed our application to sponsor and her application for pr here in Canada. We received AOR and they said they will forward her application for PR in SVO. My question is do we need to wait for a notification from SVO saying they`ve received my wife`s paper? thanks!

I received an email, like an AOR2 from the SVO a month after they transferred the file? have you heard anything yet? you are ahead of me, so just wondering!

I would email the Singapore Visa Office and see what they say. Did you mail the PCC and RPRF to SVO? Did you track it for receipt? which country you are applying from?

Congrats to those getting visa!

My wife landed on Monday night. We are in process of moving to Quebec this weekend to our new home. We are still excited about seeing our dreams come true and can't believe how fast process went.

For those interested, my wife paid 150.00 cdn in extra bags fee at airport. She brought 3 large suitcases and one carry-on. Also paid 15.00 for luggage handler in Vancouver airport upon landing. Good news though, the entire immigration process at landing took a whole 3 minutes. They gave her some brochures and also sent her an email regarding what to do while settling in Canada. It was so easy for her. Nothing for anyone to worry about.

So, we will now wait 2-6 weeks for her PR card.

She says it is cold here but air smells good. Haha.

That was fast and congrats! We are thinking of moving back to Vietnam with in five years. the air thing is true. about 3 weeks later she could not sleep. the fresh air was pure bliss to her. Saigon we love and will move there in the future.

hello guys! I'm just wondering when are they going to ask us to pay rprf? I sent my passport last Nov.7 thru CVAC, and I will also send my police clearance on Nov26 as Singapore will process police clearance 15 working days for foreigners. Anyway, I'm really not sure what will happen next.. just a bit worried..

Hey guys, the Singapore Visa office asked for my wife's passport by email. What's the proper mailing address to send the passport there?
Looks like our visa will be granted very soon. I just paid the Right of Permanent residence fee today.

Please note that we have requested your spouse to submit her passport for visa issuance on 28Oct14. Please also note that Right of Permanent residence fee is still outstanding.

Is this the correct mailing address for courier?
P.O. Box 845. Robinson Road
Singapore 901645

Telephone: (65)-6854-5900
Fax: (65)-6854-5930
Email: Main: spore @ international.gc.ca

i know SG visa forwarding to embassy is handled by VFS Singapore. Go to their website and there is an option to chat / inquire.

Hi Karen,

I believe you can send along your nib and police clearance along with your passport and ppr letter to VAC. I have a similar timeline like yours, my husband submitted his passport through VAC Oct 27 along with Appendix A.

hi canhandvi! I just want to know if you paid the rprf already? because I didn't receive any email that i need we need to pay it before issuance of visa. I'm just concerned that if we delay the payment they will also delay my visa :o
