Really you should be worried because SVO now-a-day mis-typing address on the envelop though they it by registered mail. The mail should not take more than 3 weeks.

You should enquire about your mail at your local post office. I think it is sitting there.

Wow shaw really? I didnt know that actually 3 weeks time it should be arriving?
MK88-- see more experienced people lol. I acutally thought perhaps t would take a month or so! I think you should check your post office now they might be miss placing it.

Personally, I always prefer the courier method so that I can have proof. Make sure that on top of the envelope, you write the :
- File number (Must)
- Applicant Name and DOB (Optional)

Below is the response I provided earlier on same topic

Thank you DrmBig so much for your response. I think I would update online, do you think online would be fastest and safe way to do?

Hi everyone

I haven't been on this thread in a long time. My wife got refused during the interview on Oct 28 2013. I just had my ADR appeal two days ago and I won my case. My lawyer advised me to pay the landing fee immediately which I have. Her medical has expired and the police report will expire soon. Her file will be sent to Singapore once more. Another nightmare with this Canadian High Commission. My Lawyer told me it would be another 3 or 4 months. Must I wait for them to request medical and police report or can my wife do it and send it?

As my lawyer advised me it is all about the VO. Some are good people and some are just nasty cruel individuals.

Canadianfirst,

Many Congrats.

For doing re-medical you will need a letter issued by SVO.

You can do the police clearence certificate, no problem.

Relax, this part hopefully will not take a long time.

Hi Shaw,
any news on your end?

Not yet, because my spouse PP reached SVO on Aug 27.

I hope to see "Decision Made" by Sept 27, not before that.

I am just relaxing.

When SVO will returned the PP with visa, it will show at VFS website and they also will send me text message.

No way it will be lost.

Shaw.

And???? Are they helpful? Are you on interview or recommended waived? Hopefully the news was good. What does your ECAS show?

Says recommend passed

Hey guys are all passport requests usually sent by mail along with the rest of your application? Has anyone ever got PPR via email?

I saw someone got their request of re-medical exam through email but not passport request .
My status changed to in process on July 31, and 1 and 1/2 week later ppr request came. I'm sure this is the time line if your wife is from Vietnam.

Hi ttnguyen17

When your spouse PP reached SVO ? As SVO will return the PPs in batch at the same time, I think.

I think we have same time line, keep in touch please.

You got PPR request via email or regular mail? And was the rest of your application (photos, docs) sent with the PPR? I find it strange they would give PPR through regular mail despite giving other correspondence via email.
